Just trying to help, since this mod isn't updated since 2010: If by materials being bugged you mean the clothes, armors and skins of npcs randomly getting weird textures it's a bug of the game, not of the mod (if I'm not wrong, it''s about the fact that dao is a old game and it doesn't run right in modern pcs). I had it and there is a program that solved it for me, search "dragon age origins texture bug fix" on google for how to fix it.
If you mean ALL materials got bugged, not sure what to tell you. If you just mean the materials on items you had dyed got bugged, there is a dye kit option to remove/reset any custom materials and force the item back to the default material tier. In general this was for people looking to uninstall the mod, but it could also potentially fix any weird material corruption that has happened to an item too.
I kinda took things for granted when i started using UDK seven years ago, i guess because i was just starting to mod games.
Now that i know a little bit more, i realize it's nothing short of magical what you achieved here and how much fun it is to use the kit in game with all it's options for camera angles and such. I don't think that even Skyrim with it's selection of thousands of mods has something similar.
I installed the mod and it works great with existing 8 color 8 custom colors. But how do I make my own?? You posted a link to online tint creator, ok I make a tint and get .tnt file and than what? How am I suppose to know how to add this tint file to this dazip mod to make this tin appear in game???????
Nevermind, I figured it out but it's bit complicated. For tthose who want to know. You need gff4 editor and you need to unpack the .erf file which you will have after you install this mod.
The file is at location C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\nez_DyeKit\core\data nez_DyeKit_modcore.erf
Afrer you unpack this .erf file you will see 16 tintes. To change the ones that appear as custom in the game change the ones called t3_nez_us1.tnt etc...
this mod is amazing for the portable glyph remover alone! it's so handy and easy to access at any time in the game. I love the dyes and how they appear in game too tho. at first the dye changes weren't showing up and I was so confused lol. it took me a while to realize my graphics were set to the lowest setting and nothing was showing up because of that. I raised the graphics then and it worked like a charm! fully endorsed <3

So please accept my belated thanks!
