Description: Main files
=========================

In Awakening Masterpiece and Paragon Runes of the types Silverite, Cold Iron, Hale and Dweomer are flagged as armor runes.
While this makes sense for Hale and Dweomer runes, it doesn't make sense for the others.

This mod offers 4 packages:

DWE HAL CIR SIL to weapon
Changes Tier 6&7 Dweomer, Hale, Silverite & Cold Iron runes back to weapon runes.
This just fixes all false flagged runes in Awakening and restores Origins behavior of these rune types.

DWE HAL to armor - CIR SIL to weapon
Changes Tier 6&7 Silverite & Cold Iron runes back to weapon runes, changes Tier 1-5 Dweomer & Hale runes to armor runes.
This is equivalent to the v1.0 package - of course without the bug.

DWE to armor - HAL CIR SIL to weapon
Changes Tier 6&7 Hale, Silverite & Cold Iron runes back to weapon runes, changes Tier 1-5 Dweomer runes to armor runes.
This is for people who want to use Hale runes in weapons and Dweomer runes in armor.

HAL to armor - DWE CIR SIL to weapon
Changes Tier 6&7 Dweomer, Silverite & Cold Iron runes back to weapon runes, changes Tier 1-5 Hale runes to armor runes.
This is for people who want to use Dweomer runes in weapons and Hale runes in armor.

Comments, bug reports, suggestions and requests are welcome. :)

Origins Compatibility

Package DWE HAL CIR SIL to weapon is fully compatible with Origins.

The other 3 packages prevent that the affected Tier 1-5 runes can be inserted into 2-hand weapons, but they work without any problems for 1-hand weapons.
A better solution is to use my provided package Rune Slots for Armor in Origins. You find the file in "Updates".

Technical Details

Actually the 4 packages are just different combinations of single .uti files and by manually choosing what to put in your override folder you can make any combination you like, e.g. leaving just Dweomer Master Runes as weapon runes and making all other tiers to armor runes.

Here is the list of the single files and a description what has changed:
Tier 6&7 runes runes:
- gxa_im_upg_run_wp6_cir.uti: changes Masterpiece Cold Iron Runes to weapon runes
- gxa_im_upg_run_wp6_dwe.uti: changes Masterpiece Dweomer Runes to weapon runes
- gxa_im_upg_run_wp6_hal.uti: changes Masterpiece Hale Runes to weapon runes
- gxa_im_upg_run_wp6_sil.uti: changes Masterpiece Silverite Runes to weapon runes
- gxa_im_upg_run_wp7_cir.uti: changes Paragon Cold Iron Runes to weapon runes
- gxa_im_upg_run_wp7_dwe.uti: changes Paragon Dweomer Runes to weapon runes
- gxa_im_upg_run_wp7_hal.uti: changes Paragon Hale Runes to weapon runes
- gxa_im_upg_run_wp7_sil.uti: changes Paragon Silverite Runes to weapon runes
Tier 1-5 runes:
- gen_im_upg_cry_nov_dwe.uti: changes Novice Dweomer Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_cry_jny_dwe.uti: changes Journeyman Dweomer Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_cry_exp_dwe.uti: changes Expert Dweomer Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_cry_mas_dwe.uti: changes Master Dweomer Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_cry_gdm_dwe.uti: changes Grandmaster Dweomer Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_run_nov_hal.uti: changes Novice Hale Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_run_jny_hal.uti: changes Journeyman Hale Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_run_exp_hal.uti: changes Expert Hale Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_run_mas_hal.uti: changes Master Hale Runes to armor runes
- gen_im_upg_run_gdm_hal.uti: changes Grandmaster Hale Runes to armor runes

v1.1:

Description: Ambassador Cera sells stuff
===============================================

Barrier Runes stuff

Ambassador Cera now sells Novice Barrier Runes and the tracings you need to create higher level Barrier Runes.
To keep the number of files more straightforward, I have deleted all but the all-inclusive package, which is now called Cera sells Barrier Runes stuff.

If you really need one of the old packages where Cera doesn't sell everything, leave me a comment and I can send it to you.

KNOWN ISSUES:
You probably have to leave and reenter the throne room again when the 99 runes are sold out in order to refill Cera's stock.

Deleted packages:
Cera sells NBR only (Ambassador Cera sells Novice Barrier Runes, but no Barrier Rune Tracings)
Cera sells NBR Tracing2 (Ambassador Cera sells Novice Barrier Runes & Tier 2 Barrier Rune Tracing)
Cera sells NBR Tracing3 (Ambassador Cera sells Novice Barrier Runes & Tier 2-3 Barrier Rune Tracings)
Cera sells NBR Tracing4 (Ambassador Cera sells Novice Barrier Runes & Tier 2-4 Barrier Rune Tracings)
Cera sells NBR Tracing5 (Ambassador Cera sells Novice Barrier Runes & Tier 2-5 Barrier Rune Tracings)
Cera sells NBR Tracing6 (Ambassador Cera sells Novice Barrier Runes & Tier 2-6 Barrier Rune Tracings)

Lightning Runes stuff

Use the package Cera sells Grandmaster Lightning Rune Tracing to make her sell it.
Use this when you've finished the quest Trade Must Flow, but Yuriah doesn't sell this tracing.
This package is independent from the other packages.

History
v1.1:
- fixed an incompatibility with my Blackblade Armor Fix

Direct Rune Crafting

Use the package Direct Rune Crafting to change the Rune Recipes so that you can craft Tier 3-7 Runes directly from Novice Runes.
Be aware of the fact that you can ONLY use Novice Runes to craft a certain rune.

Additionally this package fixes the crafting costs for Journeyman Dweomer Runes. which require an additional etching agent, what all other runes don't.

Rune Slots for items

These packages give runes slots to more items than melee weapons and armor.
All four work in Origins and Awakening.

Rune Slots for all Armor parts
Enables rune slots for boots, gloves, helmets and hoods.
The scaling of the number of slots is reduced in comparison to the settings BioWare made for melee weapons.
For helmets, boots and gloves the base is set to -2 and slots are added depending in the material, giving them up to 1 slot.
Hoods have no changing material. That's why I gave them a non-changing base of 1.
This package also contains the changes made in Rune Slots for Armor in Origins.

Rune Slots for Bows
Enables rune slots for bows and crossbows.
The scaling of the number of slots is identical to the settings BioWare made for melee weapons.
That means that the base is set to 0 and slots are added depending in the material.

Rune Slots for Robes
Enables rune slots for robes and clothing.
The number of slots is fixed to 3 due to the fact that robes and clothing don't scale.

Rune Slots for Shields
Enables rune slots for shields.
The scaling of the number of slots is reduced in comparison to the settings BioWare made for melee weapons.
The base is set to -1 and slots are added depending in the material, giving shields up to 2 slots.
Please take note of the fact that shields take runes of the type weapon.
This is because shields are treated as offhand weapons by the game when it comes to runes.
I could enable armor runes for shields, but that would enable them for all 1-hand weapons too. I decided against that.
However, there are still weapon runes which are useful for shields:
Intensifying Runes, Menacing Runes, Momentum Runes and (depending on which main file you use) Dweomer and Hale Runes.

Rune Slots for Staffs
Enables rune slots for staffs.
The scaling of the number of slots is identical to the settings BioWare made for melee weapons.
That means that the base is set to 0 and slots are added depending in the material.

Description: Buy Novice Barrier Runes script
===================================================

REPLACED by the optional file Cera sells NBR only. Use that one instead. It does the same and you don't have to use the console!

You are now able to buy Novice Barrier Runes via console.
I wrote this script because BioWare forgot to add these runes to any merchant.
The price for a rune is 71 Silver and 50 Bronze (the base price is 65 Silver and Ambassador Cera would add 10%).

Usage

Run "runscript crs_buy_nbr" in order to buy 1 rune.
Run "runscript crs_buy_nbr N" in order to buy N runes, where N is limited to 99 runes.

The script checks if you have enough space in your inventory to buy N runes. If not the amount is reduced.
If your inventory is full, nothing happens and you get a message.
It further checks if you have enough money to buy N runes. Again the amount is reduced if you cannot afford them.
If you even cannot buy a single rune, nothing happens and you get a message.
Then the runes are placed in your inventory and the script checks if this was successful. Only if it was successful, the money is subtracted from your funds.
That means if you run the script in Origins you don't pay for something you cannot get.
Afterwards you get a message how many runes you have bought.
