   i had this when i had both realistic teeth and elf update installed, i think it got sth to do with the face textures....
   
   in my case i only managed to get it to work with elf update working but elves not having the teeth update by deleting the realistic teeth files for elves.
   
   if you can use the toolset though the RT author said it was easy to merge the files i think (if RT is the cause of your problem)
