DA2 is the reason why I'm never upset when a game is delayed. It's the perfect example of everything that can go wrong when game companies only care about money and players only care about combat. (If I had a dime for every time I argued with someone who claims DA2 is better than DAO because the "combat is faster" ...)
That's what they did with Sten and him not having horns. He was supposed to have them like every other qunari but when someone looked at the design they realized that he wouldn't be able to wear the standard helmets.
So it was redesign all the quanri heads, prevent all of them from wearing helmets (as you may have noticed none of the other quanri wear them), redesign all the helmets, design 'special' quanri helmets or... just make Sten 'hornless'. So that's what they did.
But now they have incorporated that into the lore that being 'hornless' is somehow special but they don't know why! lol
I know. I'm like if you want fast combat why are you playing a medevil based fantasy roel playing game! Go play an action game or first person shooter!
