This is a new class of unit for the Vanilla Rangers. For half the cost - you can call in the National Guard to secure the perimeter/your flanks, so your expert troops could do all the heavy lifting. Or you can call them in if you want to equal out numbers in a huge firefight!

Their supply cost is 50, which means you can issue 2 of them for the price of 1 standard unit. Their stats are equivalent to the NW Militia (Lower FOV, less speed and more easily suppressed than the standard ranger) except they have the same attack type/gun usage as the Rangers (Mostly because i don't know how to make a new attack type for the vanilla squads, but you can imagine it as the one thing the NG are good at - shooting)

EDIT: V0.9 mod version replaces their firing types with that of the Militia. So expect them to perform even worse now!

Currently their guns are only limited to: Shotgun, M4 and M16, but i plan on limiting their equipment even more, so if you want more immersion:

1. Only use grenades/Flashbangs smokes and a crowbar. No slap charges/wall breechers/spy cameras
2. Limit their helmet to a Low cut. Their armor to SAPI only
3. No side arms. Only a 4X scope and a 1X scope

So, yeah - nobody's forcing you to do this, but if you want the full experience of having a weaker unit for the Rangers then it's up to you
This also doubles as my to do list after i add the new attack type when i have more free time.

Currently this is only a proof of concept. Meaning it's not even a full mod, as i didn't intend to release this at all and only made it for myself, so:

BACK UP THE FILES YOU ARE ABOUT TO REPLACE.

Installation:

1. Extract the file
2. Place the "Data" file in your door kickers 2 main directory. Replace all files
3. Create a new Ranger squad. Enjoy!


JUST PUT THE "NG" FOLDER IN YOUR MOD CATEGORY, CREATE A NEW SQUAD AND ENJOY!
