2024-4-1 (version 9.6.8)
- Balanced Russian-style Rescue, fix bugs or correcting some setup errors. OMON adds PKP and Kord-12.7. ALPHA adds 9A91/RMB93 "Master Key" to ALFA (the downside is that the fire button can't be changed to a shotgun door-breaker icon) and PKP bullpup version.
- Soviet SPETsNAZ Night Soldiers add silenced weapons.
- Gunslinger Girl adds HK69, MC51, Micro-UZI.

- Gunslinger Girl is basically complete, there are three fratello pairs, and increased available equipment. Plans to adapt cyborg-girls into a Black OPS character have been cancelled, as such a character cannot conceal a Long Gunslinger.

2024-1-30  (version 9.6.5)
- The rest of Gunslinger Girl's characters will be slower due to the hassle of making the little skirt look. Also based on player feedback, added MP7s for Triela and MK17 CQCs for Rico as per the manga of the final battle, and added level III and IV body armor. (Teaser: In the upcoming development plan, it is intended that the cyborg-girls will be adapted to the role of BlackOps so that they can produce a change in appearance when changing body armor, but the disadvantage is that they cannot be changed back once the camouflage is lifted, but the plan is to add their handlers to take on the role of Undercover.)

2024-1-9  (version 9.6.4)
- Gunslinger Girl adds a second character - Rico, along with her corresponding weapon.
- Night-vision goggles are equipped for the girls without messing up their hairstyles. Balance adjustments have been made to the weapon parameters of the girls. Other available equipment has also been added. The shotgun breach door of Triela has been removed in favor of kicking, but as the Social Welfare Agency's "cybernetic girls", they kicked down doors twice as efficiently as the original NOWHERAKI SWAT.
- The head model of the female mercenary in AIM has been modified.

Additional note: When using Nam SEALs before entering the map, it is recommended to also use with the use of the VC enemy mod made by lry20190611. Also although the Nam SEAL do not have optional helmets and body armor, they actually have the internally helmets and body armor that come standard with the Ranger, so there is some chance of deflecting enemy bullets.

2023-4-10 Update (version 9.5.4)

  • - Made a number of new shooting poses and animations for different units or weapons, such as low ready CQB poses, bullpup , UZI-like SMGs or belt-feed machine guns, old school style poses from the 60s to 80s, and so on.
  • - Because of the production of SEALs high ready pose but currently there is no unit suitable for use, so temporarily built a mini VBSS SEAL team dedicated to show, test and improve this animation, but also convenient for other MOD authors to test it. Since in the next my main work is [Vietnam SEALs] and [ALPHA group around 2000], does not intend to make a modern DEVGRU. The main reason for this is that the game program limits the total number of actionwaypoint settings for items such as projectiles and launchers. This time I have reduced the number of grenades and increased the number of grenades and launchers that are common to different units as much as possible. I also broke down the actionwaypoint for the grenades and launchers that are not common into the exclusive force packets. This will alleviate the compatibility issues a bit, but will not solve the problem completely unless the official limit on the total number of actionwaypoints is expanded.

2023-3-8 Update (version 9.5.3)

2022-11-6 Update (version 9.5.1)
  • - AIM add XM8 family and SVD-S sniper rifle.

(1)- Rangers: The grenade launcher attached to the MK17 STD was changed to the M320 GLM.
(2)- PLA SOF: added QBU201 and QBU202 sniper rifles; Type 67 pistol changed from early type to production type; QBZ191 family modified the shape of the grenade launcher and other accessories.
(3)- AIM: The Jagged Alliance 2 players may remember that the mercenaries were also supposed to have HK21 (in fact 20-round HK11), FAMAS, Mini-14, Thomson M1A1, and now they have them., and some original JA2 weapons will be added later. (8) - Fix bug for throwing CAS smoke grenades will throw backpacks, fix bug for leaving a fog after the explosion of 9-bang, and some fix other small bugs and balance adjustment.

2022-8-23 Update (version 9.4.8)
  • - A new solution section has been adopted for the problem of individual computers reporting errors with CAS, some players have tested it and it should work.
  • - Rangers, CIA, Sheep City SWAT and 90s Delta added glow sticks, although there is no practical use for them.
  • - Rangers: corrected the correct shape of the M14 EBR and added MK14 MOD1.
  • - Changed the delayed fuze of RGN and RGO grenades to a touch-and-blast fuze (in line with reality).

2022-8-19 Update  (version 9.4.7)
  • - Modify Retro Delta's call for CAS personnel, only one person per year can, but added a full armed of AC130 armed.
  • - At the long-term request of several players, separate the Sheep City SWAT from the PLA SOF (in fact, it is an experiment in the practice of multi-soldier mixed deployment in the always column, which will be used later to build units of realistic structure).

- I'm not sure if this version will completely solve the problem of individual players getting error reports when calling certain near-air support, but give it another try. However, according to the feedback, at least 3 players have found that the OpenAL error message appears when the game starts, which is a missing environment, and installing this OpenAL will solve the problem. However, some people said that when the error message appears, they can also run the game normally by ignoring it directly. And after ignoring it several times, it will not prompt again.

Also to explain the reason why I no longer update the all for ranger patch:
Because many new weapons don't just have a profile, the performance of these weapons is often also related to a different UNIT or a different CLASS, for example, even a CAR-15 in the hands of a 80's Delta versus 90's Delta is different, and since the Delta doesn't have heavy protection, I am speeding up their attack speed to achieve balance. If bind these weapons directly to the Rangers would confuse and upset the balance of the Rangers' equipment.

9.4.2 Update  (2022-7-8)
Sorry for the frequency of updates. Despite having updated 9.4.1 once last night to fix bugs and adjust the balance of the vests, adjustments have been made again as bugs have been found one after another, or in cases where the balance is still not so good.
At the same time more than one player suggested that there were too few people in the Retro Delta and they wanted to restore certain actions with the correct gear, however only 4 man were not enough. After some thought, I decided to increase all the Delta for direct action to 8 man, while the Black Ops ones remained at 4 man. This is mainly due to the game program limiting the maximum number of people in a unit to 32 and the limited screen space to fit a 40 man layout.
Other changes include
  • - The balance of the 5.11 vests and jackets of the "Balkan Black" has been adjusted. Also some of their weapons have been moved to another team in production, the "90s Test/Training".
  • - AN/M14 aluminium thermite grenades were added for the Retro Delta.

9.4.0 Update (2022-07-07)

  • - New units: the first version of the Retro Delta, designed for the time being only for the invasion of Grenada in 1983 and for black operations in the Balkans in the mid to late 1990s. This unit will be iterative, adding up year by year.

Because I am not good at artwork, and in the MOD group, although there are several modelers, but the lack of artworkers, so that the equipment UI in this MOD has three styles, can not fully fit the original game UI style. I love guns, so at first this mod was purely about building lots of new firearms. With the creation of new troops came the feature where I felt I couldn't give all the guns to the Rangers, especially some of the classic but older models, so I created AIM, a mercenary business from a JA2 background, and assigned some of the non-Ranger standard equipment to them.

At the same time, because I needed a suitable unit for the newly made Chinese latest firearms to be used as well, another PLA unit was created.

As more weapons became available and I was trying out different vests and clothing looks, CLASS was added to both AIM and PLA.

In this case, the AIM's deployment column is divided into two columns, the left column assuming veterans from the United States and Western Europe and the right column assuming veterans from Eastern Europe. They therefore have different tendencies in terms of the weapons they are equipped with, as well as different styles in terms of specific methods of attack.

The PLA UNIT was also modified to be a joint unit of military SOF and SWAT involved in peacekeeping operations in foreign countries. Most of their weapons are different, but even if there are individual weapons of the same type, the shooting style is different.

There are also some of the latest weapons for the US Army, although some models are equipped with Delta or SEALs, but as there are many mod authors who have made Delta, SEAL or other units, I will not duplicate these here, but divide these newer weapons for use by the Rangers or CIA. And they also used some of the enemy weapons captured on the battlefield.
