This simple sound mod reduces the sound of the Air Control rune's increased jump boot thrusters, which can become rather annoying especially when isolated in the soundscape.

Three other versions are available. One version completely mutes the Air Control sounds, while two other versions add the base jump boot SFX on top of the modified ones (I.E., quieter and silent).

Installation Instructions (Windows & Steam, paraphrased from the Discord channel):

1) Download EternalModInjector.zip archive from the Doom 2016+ Modding Discord server here, and extract its contents to your DOOM Eternal installation's root directory, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DOOMEternal\.

2) Download Quieter_Air_Control_SFX.zip, Quieter_Air_Control_SFX_Alt.zip, or Silent_Air_Control_SFX.zip (do not install more than one at the same time!) and simply place it in your /DOOMEternal/Mods/ folder. Do not extract the zip folder into the mod folder.

3) Run EternalModInjector.bat. The mod should now work!

Removal Instructions (Windows & Steam)

1) Remove Quieter_Air_Control_SFX.zip, Quieter_Air_Control_SFX_Alt.zip, or Silent_Air_Control_SFX.zip from your /DOOMEternal/Mods/ folder.

2) Run EternalModInjector.bat again.

3) The mod should now be removed!
