About this mod
Demons drop loot like they do in classic FPS games - in other words, Kill demons in whatever way you like to get their loot. Specific demons drop specific loot that you have to collect before it disappears, e.g. soldier blaster = shells and health.

Marauder now drops BFG ammo also - since he has an argent axe
Tentacles drop same loot as zombies
Super tentacles drop 2 medium health packs
Buff pods drop a bunch of loot
Added additional optional file = no shells back for mastered auto shotgun mod

Classic Doom Lootdrops mod
Introduction
Play Doom Eternal like 1993 Doom. Kill demons in whatever way you like to get their loot. Specific demons drop specific loot that you have to collect before it disappears, e.g. soldier blaster = shells and health.
This is a soft launch of the mod. I need your help to tweak the difficulty, i.e. amount of resources you get back from the loot, and fix any other problems you notice. If you notice any problems, let me know and tell me which level you noticed it in, where you were and what you were doing. Also let me know if you have any suggestions for variations of this mod.
Gameplay changes
This will change the way you play quite a bit. For example:
- The chainsaw is now just a one hit weapon (instead of a resource gather)
- The flame belch is a viable weapon for fodder and dealing extra damage
- Some upgrades are useless, e.g. the resource range crystal, health drops from the ice bomb suit point
- You will have to carefully consider which weapons you'll use before going into a fight depending on how much ammo you have.
Three difficulty modes
Determine the amount of loot you gather from demons :
Generous
Normal
Stingy
Two loot drop modes
Normal : loot drops are mostly specific to demons
Simple : loot drops are specific to demon types - ambient, fodder, heavy, superheavy
Simple is experimental and not tested

If you want more of a challenge, I recommend making the demons tougher :
Enter ‘ g_damageScaleAllToAI 0.75 ’ in the console in the game. This will make the demons 25% tougher. Reduce this number to make it harder or increase it to make it easier.
Future updates
This mod should work with Id’s master levels but not with Horde mode. I have no plans to support Horde mode but if people want it, then I will. Apart from this, I might update the mod to tweak it a bit more and fix any other bugs I notice.
Players : This mod edits the level files so unfortunately you cannot use it with custom levels. Modders : if you want to use this mod with your custom level, send me a message on discord and I can send you Anny's tools to help do this in seconds!

All other fodder, including tentacles, give health and shells and bullets if the player runs out
