A template map for users getting into level modding. Ease of access to begin learning how to script your own encounters.

To use, simply put the .zip in your mods folder. Starting a new save file in the main campaign or DLC will take you to the map where users can either play already completed encounters by other users, or begin scripting their own.

To get started, Download:

M347h00k (Meath00k) by Chrispy, maintained by SamPT
- Mandatory tool that unlocks dev commands and allows maps to be edited in-game.
- To install: Place the only file (XINPUT1_3.dll) in Doom Eternal's installation directory.

EntityHero by Scorp0rX0r
- Optional tool that can be helpful for newer modders.
- To install: Extract files to whatever folder you want. Make sure to copy "oo2core_8_win64.dll" from Doom Eternal's installation directory to the folder.
NOTE: EntityHero is known to be unstable and prone to crashes.

Template Info:

This template map contains a basic encounter manager named encounter_manager_1 along with pre-made spawn positions, pickups, triggers, etc available from the start for new modders to tinker with. Refer to the first image (Corrosion Map Layout) when locating the preset spawn positions.
