A small mod that grants Screecher Zombies damage resistances towards various sources of damage to prevent accidental triggers, especially within the more difficult spectrum of community Master Level mods.
Not safe for public Battlemode matches.
Needs EternalModInjector to install, read the installation instructions there.
Features
- Grants Screecher Zombies 100% damage resistance towards the following:
- Dash Impact Damage
- Blood Punch AoE Shockwave
- Break Blast Support Rune Explosion
- Precision Bolt Mastery Explosion
- Chaingun Energy Shield Dash Smash
- Grants Screecher Zombies 85% damage resistance towards the Super Shotgun pellets.
This is done to prevent accidental triggering of the Screecher buff from a mere 2 stray pellets in the vanilla game.
Now the Super Shotgun would need to specifically aimed towards the Screecher Zombie for a one-shot at point blank range, and two-shots or more from close range and beyond. - Fix on the developer oversight where Screecher Zombies would trigger their buff upon dying of fall damage.
- The mod now works by editing the demon's damage resistances (entitydamage) instead of editing the weapons' damage itself in order to prevent possible mod conflicts.
※ Mod conflicts may still happen with Blood Punch AoE Shockwave and Chaingun Energy Shield Dash Smash. This is because for some reason the game simply wouldn't register the damage modifier from these two sources when edited from the entitydamage file, so I had to make due.
The mod is initially inspired by the Modpack Collection's DLC Demon Tweaks, specifically on the modification towards Mancubi's death explosions no longer damaging Screechers.
