unable to remove the mod from my game, cant play the game normally anymore. I have removed the mod from the folder, deleted it off my pc completely, and put the mod into disabled mods and it continues to work. What is this mods issue?
The issue stems from an old QoL change for the Pain Elemental's lost souls that prevented a player from accidentally meathooking onto one of them. I repurposed the Armored Baron's aiBehavior (since it was unused for co-op) to the pain lost souls, which seems to cause some people to crash due to using duplicated DLC assets pulled from other mods. In the next update, it will replace an aiBehavior only found in base gameresources so you shouldn't crash anymore with other mods that use assetsInfo.
We tried the commands, but they did nothing. My friend is trying to host the lobby, Does he need to finish the missions first in singleplayer mode? He never played before
The host needs to "owns" the maps you wish play. Ex: You need to own the base game to play the Campaign levels & you need to own The Ancient Gods Part 1 to play The Blood Swamps. All of the Battlemode maps will work regardless of what the host owns. Be sure that the host enters the LoadDevMenuOption command while in a private lobby, after you and your friend have selected a podium slot.
Runes cannot be changed unfortunately and most of them do not work well in multiplayer. You can try to change them manually by unzipping the mod and opening the "e5m1_spear\generated\decls\devinvloadout\devinvloadout\dlc\e4m1_rig.decl" file. You will see a list of rune perks near the bottom of the first list. Change the order of the first 3 runes to change what you want. Try to avoid using runes that affect time like Saving Throw and Chrono Strike. After you are done modifying the file, save it, then compress all the parent folders into one .zip file.
My friend and I tried the first mission, and when one of us died it would reset to the beginning. Is supposed to reset when only one person dies? also, the enemies would all disappear in the section we died at, not sure if that's supposed to happen either? Thanks for the mod!
Me and my friend were very excited to try out this mod but whenever we try to load into a map me and my friend would get stuck in the loading screen and only the host of the map would load in. Can you help us fix this?
All players should do the following: - Uninject all other mods. The EternalModManager.exe file has an option to do this, or you can manually remove the other mods from your "Mods" folder. - Clear your "Overrides" folder if it exists. You may have this folder if you have played Kaiser Campaign before. - Verify file integrity on Steam. Right-click DOOM Eternal on Steam -> Properties... -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files (If you or your friend owns DOOM Eternal on PC gamepass... then I cannot help you.)
If co-op does not work after following these steps, try swapping hosts (leave the lobby then let the other player create a new lobby). If it still does not work, try re-installing DOOM Eternal.

how can I fix the problem
LoadDevMenuOption devmenuoption/pvp 1 1
LoadDevMenuOption devmenuoption/pvp 2 1
LoadDevMenuOption devmenuoption/pvp 3 1
etc...
They are not case-sensitive and you can use the TAB key to autofill when appropriate.
