This mod tweaks some encounters and adds additional Meathook Grapple Points to The Ancient Gods: Part 2 (TAG2)

This mod is meant to maintain the "Vanilla" feel but with a few buffs/alterations, thus there are little significant changes to TAG2, and its overall difficulty is not significantly altered. The majority of the buffs are in the incidental encounters.


There is also an alternate mod that changes Immora's sky environment to be more red to better fit the level's concept art.

List of Changes:

The World Spear:
- Added additional Hammer Pickups throughout the level. (Reason: In case players have a mod that makes it take longer to recharge the Hammer, but they can still liberally use the Hammer when it is first introduced.)
- First Encounter: Added a Revenant.
- Second Fountain Area: Added a Meathook Grapple Point.
- Dreadknight Incidental: Added a Carcass.
- Open Snow Area: The later demon waves spawn sooner.
- Mountain Incidental: Added a Screecher and a Mancubus.
- Pinky Cave Encounter: Removed the Blood Punch Pickups and Exploding Barrels.
- Escalation Encounters: Added a Meathook Grapple Point. Both Escalation Encounters have a wave of Stone Imps inserted. (Reason: To teach new players good Hammer usage by coordinating their Hammer slams on priority demons.)
- First Waterfall Encounter: Added a respawning Hammer Pickup. Replaced the Armored Baron with a Marauder. (Reason: To introduce players to Hammer Stunning the Marauder.)
- Second Waterfall Encounter: Replaced the first Baron with a Possessed Marauder.

The World Spear Master Level:
- Final Platforming Section: Added Tentacles in the Purple Goo.
- Catacombs and Final Encounters: The Wall Laser Hazards have their particle intensity reduced, fixing the performance issues it was causing.

Reclaimed Earth:
- First Encounter: Added a second Cursed Prowler after the first one dies. (Reason: This encounter introduces a new enemy type. There should be another to better introduce the player to its behavior.)
- First Building Arena: Added a Meathook Grapple Point.
- Broken Train Area: Added an additional wave consisting of a second Mancubus and more Stone Imps.
- Riot Soldier Introduction: Added a Marauder after the Riot Soldiers and Blood Maykr dies. (Reason: To warm up players for the Escalation Encounter Marauders.)
- First Escalation Encounter: Added a Possessed Hell Knight in the middle of the encounter.
- Second Escalation Encounter: Replaced the Possessed Hell Knight with a Possessed Cacodemon and added a second Doom Hunter at the end.
- Hammer Pickup Room: Replaced the Hammer Pickups with an Overdrive Powerup. Replaced the fodder spawns with Stone Imps. (Reason: Moved the final Immora Encounter here.)
- Flooded Subway Hallway: Added a Cyber Mancubus.
- Skyscraper Encounter: Added a second Armored Baron at the end.
- Library Area: Added Tentacles in the Purple Goo ponds.
- Final Encounter: Added a Meathook Grapple Point. Brought back the Riot Soldiers from before Update 6.66. Swapped the Possessed Mancubus and Archvile waves. (Reason: So the Spirit can possess other demons without the Archvile messing with the buffs.)

Immora:
- Opening Encounter: Added a Hell Knight.
- First Escalation Encounter: Added a Cursed Prowler in the Doom Hunter Wave. (It's actually from a bugged spawn.)
- Second Escalation Encounter: Replaced the Baron with a Blood Maykr and the first Marauder with a Possessed Archvile.
- Wasteland Area: Added a second Super Tentacle.
- Cave Encounter: Added an additional wave consisting of Cursed Prowlers and Spectre Whiplashes.
- Canyon Area: Added a Screecher and second Prowler with the Riot Soldiers.
- Sentinel Catapult Area: Replaced the Possessed Hell Knight with a Possessed Dread Knight and added a Cacodemon after the Possessed demon dies.
- City Reveal Encounter: Added two Cacodemons and two Revenants.
- Lower City Area: Added Jump Pads, Monkey Bars, and a Meathook Grapple Point. Added additional Fodder and additional waves consisting of a Tyrant, Mancubus, and Riot Soldiers followed with a Pain Elemental and Baron.
- Secret BFG Encounter: Replaced the Revenant with a Marauder.
- Hangar Encounter: Added an Archvile, replaced the Possessed Baron with a Possessed Armored Baron, and replaced the Armored Baron with a normal Baron in the last wave.
- Final Encounter: Replaced the Stone Imps with multiple Marauders. Replaced the Overdrive Powerup with an Onslaught Powerup. Replaced the Shotgun Shells with multiple Hammer Pickups. Added a Meathook Grapple Point and Mega Health Pickup.

The Dark Lord:
- Unchanged.
- Recommended to play the Rework version.
