Changelogs
Version V1.0
- Initial release.
Description:
This mod angles the normally centered weapons. Works 100% guaranteed on the 2020 Remaster. Not tested with other ports, but should work in theory.
There are two versions available:
Vanilla SSG Reload: Standard reload animation known from the original game. Modified SSG Reload: The third reload frame pictures Doomguy inserting two new shells into the SSG.
If you worry about how to aim with these weapons, orientate yourself at the ammo counter. It is always in the middle.
How to install:
1. Drop the WAD file of your choice into the root folder of Doom 64. 2. Add this line as a start option: -file Doom64_Angled_Weapons.wad
More detailed instructions, plus a guide for each platform the Remaster released on, can be found inside the README.
If you install this on a port, refer to its documentation on how to install custom wads.
