    Annihilation (1.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: spunky13

This mod i made it from editing the in-game def files and testing it out for a little bit. I have fixed most of the bugs and taken the time to modify all that i missed. It's best played on the difficulty veteran or nightmare. ------------- Features: ------------- - The shotgun shoots plasma. - The pistol shoots rockets but it only has 1 clip size otherwise it would be too powerful and not as challenging. - The machinegun shoots bfg but if i can remember right is has a clip size of 5 or 10. - The chaingun is the same but i just edited the damage so now the projectile does 40 instead of 20. - The grenade throws a hellknight fireball I think. ect. All of the enemies have new attacks and increased health.

    UnForGiven's Laser Mod (1.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: UnForGiven

I was looking for a good laser mod for doom3, after searching a lot i came across the View mod. I was inspired by that mod to basically follow in his footsteps and remake a few mods, including his own. Hence, this is basically a few mods to modify the clip size, add lasers, and mod the firing on a few guns. This is my first atempt at modding so please if you find any problems let me know. My next major project is remodeling the weapons so that there are actual laser sights on them. Look forward to this in a future release. ------------- Features: ------------- - Laser sights on pistol, machinegun, chaingun, rocketlauncher, and shotgun. - Flashlights on plasma, bfg and chaingun. - Brighter flashlight. - Larger clip size in shotgun, machine gun, chaingun, and plasma rifle. - Smaller spread on the shotgun making it more useful at range. - Cool effect on the chaingun when firing. - Chainsaw makes an red glow. - And a few other small tweeks.

Another mysteriously abandoned base. I wanted to recapture a little bit of Quake2 feel in places, while still utilizing all the great elements of Doom3's claustrophobic spaces. Base Desires is intended as a FFA map, but do with it as you will. Ultimately, this is a deathmatch map, but it should play well for tourney as well.

    Maze Maker (1.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: MWoody

Essentially, maze maker is a simple proof-of-concept for recursive scripting in Doom 3. I wanted to know if it was possible to program things like mazes and tree-based pathing with recursion, and the answer is yes, but only for very simple tasks (see notes, below). When a button on the GUI is clicked, the program randomly generates a "perfect" maze, meaning a maze where any one square has a path to any other square. You can drop down and run through the maze if you want, but the lighting might make that a little difficult. NB: If you are only a gamer, then chances are you will find this quite useless. Modmakers - however - may find that maze making possibility interesting

    Demonator

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: DC Doom

This is a single player mod which places the demons and zombies from D3 onto multiplayer maps. -------------- Remarks: -------------- - The monsters are not bots. They do not pick up items or respawn when they are killed. They have the same AI from the single player game. - Items picked up by you are not respawned. - Models sometimes do not load. In that case, reload the map. - There is no monster counter and game does not end when all monsters are dead. Take it for what its worth. I use it for target practice and exploring maps. Compatibility with other mods: This mod alters the weapon_fists script. You should be able to run any other mod which doesn't use it.

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: djgrapes

We have a first time Doom3Files content submitter in our midst today! Djgrapes is here to wow you with his first creation made with the Doom editor! The level is rather small, and the challenge-level is not 'over the top' or anything, but, on the other hand, you won't be bored and you will have to use a fair amount of skill to keep from becoming dead... The background of Theta Labs (v1.0) is a simple one, an emergency call was received in the military centre, located at the UAC's Theta Research Labs; The scientists calling raised caution flags at the centre, which caused the military brass to decide to send in one of their own to find out exactly what is going on. You are sent in because of this, your mission is a simple one, you need to go in there and examine the facility and find out what happened, should you need to, your secondary mission is to liquidate everything that poses a danger. Refer to the readme for more information.

This map was created after Jenry had an idea to create the same sort of map for Doom3; This map is made from scratch, and is essentually a multiplayer/team Death, Tourney, deathmatch map inside a box. It's time to take a deep breath, make sure your wepons are fully loaded, and work on being the one that walks away with bragging rights! The developer is looking to get some feedback on this level, including any changes you would like to see.

  • Xmod (v1.3)

    Xmod (v1.3)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Dafama2K7

Dafama2K7 has returned to update to a previously released mod that some, including me, may have thought was released for the Holidays; If you enjoyedChristmas Mod (v1.0) and it's updated version, Christmas Mod (v1.1), then you're in for a treat! The Xmod is a continuation of these two mods, but without the Christmas theme. This mod comes complete with all kinds of weird, wonderful and familiar features and as well as some of the same surprises that the developer wants you to find for yourselves (if you haven't already found them). Although the Xmod may have been developed, and originally named for the season, it is/was only based on the holiday, this is a serious mod that Dafama2K7 appears to have had some fun with; So strap on your armour and grab your gear, it's time for some fragging good action, with some laughs along the way... Some of the changes in this version include: Upgraded shaders to the very latest NG version. Updated plasmagun impact fx. Uses D3_Alpha cursor. Fixed the splash screen. Changed offset on some weapons (like in chainsaw, plasmagun, raygun and double barrel shotgun). Created my own RayGun NEW weapon, an spectacular InstaGib kind of LightningGun ! Used Obiwan's monster_Shambler projectile modded to suit my own RayGun NEW weapon. Thanks. Metallic weapons materials thanks to Mausus Atlas. Thanks. Removed automatic fists music, now only available in chainsaw weapon pressing reload key. Improved the BFG Plasma Machinegu This mod is a must have and is fun to play, no matter what time of the year it is! Be sure to get your copy of the Xmod now and continue enjoying a unique Doom 3 experience! Refer to the readme for more information and credits.

    DoomFighter (0.3)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Hellborg

DoomFighter is a little concept game that simulates the "look-and-feel" of classic fighting games in the doom3 engine. The fighters, which are default doom marines controlled from client and server computers are shown from the sideview. Both fighters automatically orient themselves to face each other (similarly as in some 3D fighting games). The standard key bindings are as follows: W: forward S: step back A: sidestep left D: sidestep right J: punch K: crouch (blocks a standard high punch) L: jump N: block Note to developers: I don't have the skills to generate additional animations to include more actions, such as kicks etc. At the current stage, custom animations can be integrated very easily. Please let me know, if you are willing and capable of making custom animations. I would be more than happy to extend the current state of the engine to include additional capabilities. Have fun playing the game. ----------------------------- Changes since v0.1: ----------------------------- - Combos: -- left-back-right-punch: plasma bolt -- front-back-front-left-punch: bfg bolt -- left-back-left-right: teleport - Blocking: simple punches can be blocked, bolts cannot be blocked - Complete rewrite of the engine to allow integration of custom animations/moves. Everything, from simple punches, projectile attacks and combos is defined by key/ref pairs in the entityDef player_doommarine_mp (found in the mp.def file).
