    DungeonDOOM (8.1 Vanilla)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Hellborg

DungeonDoom incorporates most key features of roguelike games. Levels are largely composed of mazes, which are generated with a pseudo-random number generator. Levels have stairs leading either to higher or lower levels of the dungeon. The lower the player descends into the dungeon, the stronger the enemies get. The modification is highly extensible and the current 8.0 build of DungeonDoom includes an overworld, a storyline, random quests, special level bosses with special abilities, a magic system, an equipment system, a character developement system, a player ability system and various playable characters, including a collectible card variant using the 'card master' and a sword-wielding combo performing ninja. You start your quest in the wilderness in front of the gates of the city of Asiris. A dark path leads to a mystical pyramid, south of the gates of Asiris. Below this pyramid, you will find a deep, extensive dungeon, which houses numerous tough enemies... This is the Windows version. ----------------- What's new: ----------------- - Alternate gameplay modes for instant action: -- Arena: fight against a neverending stream of monsters. -- Challenge: recieve a given amount of experience and gold, upgrade your stats and grab some stuff at the shop and then try to finish a 4 level challenge. 1 of 4 possible challenges will be chosen randomly. - More details in the wilderness - Iron Maiden monster in three variations. If you look too long at Iron Maiden, you will become mesmerized and unable to move or shoot your weapons for a given period of time. - inclusion of larch and insane monsters (comblood). -------------------------- Features highlight: -------------------------- - A practically endless wilderness with various places to visit, including the City of Asiris, various quest goals and a pyramid (south of the gates to Asiris at the end of the dark path), which serves as an entrance to the Dungeon. - Up to 100 randomly generated maze levels with randomly placed monsters. The strength of enemies increases the deeper you descend. Exits are blocked by pentagrams until all enemies have been spawned. - Five player classes: Fighter, Psi-Fighter, Supernatural, Cardmaster and Ninja with varying abilities to wield weapons, execute combos, use magical skills and/or use magical card decks. - Three different difficulty settings with variations in light level, trap visibility, enemy toughness and enemy behavior. - Three different choices for game length - ranging from short 20 level skirmishes to extended 100 levels adventures. - Three different player perspectives: Traditional first-person, overhead third-person and ninja 'follow-camera' modes. - 4 adjustable light levels with optional ambient lighting. - 16 different magical spells, some with 3 different skill levels. - Ammunition, potions, scrolls, armor and various light sources are available in shops. - Randomly generated magical item to improve your character. - Character development in 6 features: Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, Wisdom, Vitality and Alignment. - Special enemy and boss capabilities, including paralyzing, blinding, poisoning, teleporting, invisibility, spawning, confusion, shields, self-healing, item destruction and special projectiles. - Randomly generated "unique" powerful wizards that can master multiple special abilities. - Enemy AI tweaks including fleeing and flocking capablities. - Traps which cause damage, status effects or level transitions (trapdoors). - Magically summoned pet pinky (credits to tinman). - 10 different quests and 1 storyline. - Alignment influences storyline proceeding. - Refreshment fountains to replenish health or mana. - A final enemy, "The Balrog", with unique properties.

"By using modified height maps and specular maps, this graphical mod/tweak brings greater sharpness and detail to Doom3. Another great mod comes our way from the talent of Dafama2K7; Something to note about this download, is that it is for Resurrection of Evil only, for the Doom III Base version, click here...it is, however, not compatible with other mods. View is for people who want to play an intense, hard game with more realism, and going with the realism theme, there is no unlimited ammo here; The laser sights can be useful, but you can lose your aim at rapid fire. Some features of this mod include: Better and much powerfull weapons Double Barrel now supported for both D3 & ROE ! Double Barrel Auto-Reload Now all weapons have MuzzleFlash without lossing the Laser Sights Red brilliant Vulgar skin Added new shaders Fixed bugs You'll notice that tere are no crosshairs in the game when this mod is installed, this is due to the introduction of the laser sights; Most of them will even glow to give you enough lighting in the dark, but not enough to make you fell like you are cheating, Something else that will raise your eyebrows the fact that the developer has also increased the visuals to a higher level, although, to enjoy this, you will need a PC that can run it. Refer to the readme for more information.

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: bullseye

Everyone has their fave map, or level, from Doom3...and everyone has their least fave; For those of you that are of the mind that mars_city1.map and mars_city2.map fit the bill for the latter, then you will be happy to know that bullseye has worked his magic once again, and has returned to D3Files to share it with you! This version of mars_city_upgrade will open up some doors for you, the D3 gamer; it will allow you to take a breather in your bedroom, and, in mars_city2, you will see the epilogue of R. Roland, the last mars_city civilian alive... What you get with this download is: mc.map This is the reworked first level of Doom 3 (Mars_city) where you will see a VIP area with your bedroom, and the ACO offices and administration access (copied from the original third level) . mc2.map This is the reworked third level of Doom 3 (Mars_city2) where you will still see the previous VIP area, and also the "departure lounge" (copied from the original first level) with a junction between its footbridge and the "reception" room. Some hints for other changes include: Why could we not visit the ACO offices, and administration access in that level? Is there not any way to come back to the departure lounge? Refer to the readme for additional information.

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Dafama2K7

As with D3 In the Dark for the Base, Dafama2K7 is back, and if it hasn't been evident yet, he has been busy lately, (as you may have noticed from the last few releases...) with this return, he has made this great mod even better! What we have here is his newest Full version of D3 In the Dark, any previous version you may have must be removed before installing v2.75; This release is for Resurrection of Evil only. For those of you just tuning in, and are wondering what the D3 In the Dark mod will do for you, and your DooM gaming experience...it simply changes the game so that the lighting is even less then what it is with the retail version. Some changes in this version include: Doors and similar opens and closes when they want. Latest BHNG shaders. Fixed bugs on the chainsaw blood and light radius and click sound ! Use of Chromatic Dispersion shaders by TheRealSceneGraphManager,. Better Plasmagun plasma imapact fx. Full mod, do not install into the old one, remove the old mod folder first Things that go bump in the dark, will take on a whole new meaning, as the only source of illumination that will be found in this download will be the flashlight that you carry, or the one mounted on your pistol and shotgun, a few desklamps, and some swinging, half lit ceiling lights. You'll be amazed at how different DooM feels when you install this download! Some of you have thought it, and some have spoken it...whether it's a paralyzing fear of the dark, or just a plain dislike for dark games, if this is the case, this mod may not be for you...if you thrive on challenge, and enjoy the unknown, start your download now! 5.56mm Full Metal Jacket Trailer (Beta)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: Oneofthe8devilz

I think this will be the last "big" media update before the release of a beta version. It was a pain in the ass to capture this movie since for some reason the post-processing effect (mainly the bloom-shader) does not get recorded with any standart capture software (like for example fraps). So I had to record this the "old way" by capturing the tv-output of my gfx-card. But this has also it's good side, because now ppl can get an idea of the speed the mod is playing at, since this way of capturing doesn't eat up that much performance (because you use 2 computers).....

This version has been optimized, in size at least (cut down by 4MB); besides, most of the environments are now immersed in a mild haze of smoke but it doesn't seem to impact the FPS count a tiny; those are truly excellent for such a detailed map btw. Supported game modes: Deathmatch, Team DM, Tourney and Last Man Standing.

The name of this map says it all: City Of Zombies is just that...a city full of Zombies! If you're in the mood for some mindless intense action, or you feel that you need an outlet for some issues and have a want for some kind of stress reliever, then are you ever in luck! RobertDoom has sent in this city-themed Single-Player map that comes complete with a few buildings, but not much else...with the exception of the sheer number of Zombies. The only downside to City Of Zombies is that with the large number of baddies found within, your framerate may take a beating, depending on what you run for a gaming rig; Taking the bloodshed to the max, only a good time can be had ventilating the undead! Refer to the readme for installation instructions.

NOTE: This is a largely untested Alpha version. While theoretically the worst that will happen is the game crashes, I hold no responsibility if your computer explodes in a ball of incandescent fury. = Limitations = There is no scoring. Other human players can't play on your server (may crash, may just not work, dunno). You will always be in warmup. bot won't run. bot isn't protected by armor. bots use single player weapon damage settings, rocket does more, chaingun less, machinegun less, plasmagun less.

Gives you some AI controlled buddies to fight through single player with. With great vengeance. This is the first general release of TinMan Squad, it's gotten to a point where it is enjoyable but is still pretty rough. However I do plan to improve on the mod as long as my whim takes me, I'm not a programmer by any sense, and at the moment I'm learning as I am hacking through the code. TinMan Squad (0.2b)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016

Gives you some AI controlled buddies to fight through single player with. With great vengeance. This is the first general release of TinMan Squad, it's gotten to a point where it is enjoyable but is still pretty rough. However I do plan to improve on the mod as long as my whim takes me, I'm not a programmer by any sense, and at the moment I'm learning as I am hacking through the code. But I'm having fun, which is the goodness.

Unofficial Music for DOOM 3 and RoE (2.0)

    Last Update: 20 Apr 2016
    Author: ___alien___

These are unofficial songs for Doom 3 I composed inspired from Bobby Prince music in the original game, replacing midi with real instruments. (I play the guitars) It has all the elements DOOM fans want to create a more doom-like ambiance (I especially consider my music to fit during the last levels of the game). I have composed 12 (MP3) Tracks, and I am composing more for myself, and if there is an interest from fans I will post more! Let me know. Tracks included in this release: - And Shadows Too (3'51") - Engage (4'34") - Evaded or the March of Death (3'12") - The Infamous E1M1 (1'41")
