This makes it so that the corpses actually stay after you kill them, and not just get a delayed burnaway or slightly more hp to their corpse before gibbing.
Installation: Make a folder inside the same folder as the Doom3.exe and name it whatever you want. Load up the game, choose "mods" and load it.
This can be merged with other mods. Just copy the pak file into the mod folder you want to merge with. Note: Make sure your chosen mod doesn't use the same files as this mod does because it can overwrite this mod. You will have to manually go into the pak files and replace the corresponding files then.
If you have a mod that replaces monster skins or behavior, this can be tricky.
This is for the classic version. 1.3.1. It probably works with older ones, maybe even BFG edition.
