What does this mod do?
DmC was designed to be played at a maximum of 30 frames per second, and NT applied hitstop with that target FPS in mind. Their implementation of hitstop is governed by 2 variables: Start time and Duration. Because of this, the hitstop you see at 60fps doesn't just happen twice as fast, but you actually see just half of the hitstop you're intended to experience. Please lock your framerate either with vSync, Nvidia Control Panel, or through debug mode with console commands.

This mod adjusts the duration of every move that has hitstop applied to it

I play at 144fps, will the mod still work?
Yes, but not the way its intended to. You will still experience more hitstop but still less than what you're supposed to see. The game is still very playable with the 60fps version at 144fps and some may even find they enjoy the results it produces. For those of you who like to play at 144fps but want the real deal, I will release a version of the mod calibrated for 144fps soon. I'm releasing the 60fps version now for players to try out and provide feedback on their feelings about the tweaks. If you do try the mod out, please give your thoughts on it so I know what to change about it in the future. Adjusting hitstop means combo timings change, and your experience with the mod is what helps me improve the changes in a way that suits the needs of the people playing the game.

IMPORTANT FOR 144FPS USERS: If you plan to use the 144fps patch, it is mandatory to have a PC capable of a stable 144fps. The values used for time and amount of hitstop were meant to be used only at that framerate. Having even 15-20 fps less than 144 will result in having some overly long hitstops. This version requires you to have a capable computer to see the intended effects. If you cannot hit that framerate constantly, please use the 60fps version instead.
