About this mod

Changes the combat portrait frames of your team members from colour brown to colour blue (party members) or colour green (allies), so they can be easier to distinguish from the red frame of enemies' portraits.

Permissions and credits
I was having a bad time distinguishing between allies and enemies in the combat turn order bar —red and brown are not so easy to distinguish, so I changed the frame colour of team members. Depending on the method used for changing the frames, all team members will get blue frames or party members will get blue frames, allies green frames and neutral characters (if they are ever in combat) yellow frames. There are two different files, depending on the method used for changing the frames:

Sprite replacement method: the brown frame sprite is replaced with a blue frame sprite.

Script edit method: The frame colours are the result of changes in the .swf script. It allows party members to get blue frames, allies who are not in the party to get green frames and (theoretically) neutral characters, if they ever engage in combat, to get yellow frames. In addition, if you pass the mouse over the portraits, they will glow in the same colour as the frame. This is still a work in progress, as I need to manually enter the names of the characters that need green frames and I do not know all the characters who help you in combat through the game. This file has been tested and it seems to work perfectly, however, modifying a script is always more likely to cause bugs than just replacing a sprite.

Known issues with the script modification method that cannot be fixed are:

- If at some point there is an NPC who fights with you as an ally and you name your character or one of the henchmen like them, your avatar/henchman will get the wrong frame (green).

- List of names you should avoid: Isbeil, Malady, Gareth, Jules, Duggan, Exter, Samadel and Leya.

- Some enemies will get blue frames rather than green frames when they are charmed. This is only true in a few spoilery cases, as well as if you decide to fight neutral or friendly NPCs with common names. In the latter case, I have not added them to the list of green frame characters to avoid reducing the pool of possible names you can choose for your own character/henchmen. This does not include Magisters, Paladins or any other type of enemy who has a title in their name, as the title has been used to include them in the list of green fame characters instead of their names.

- Summons of allied characters will probably get blue frames.

To install this mod place the folder in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\Data (for Classic Edition, not tested)

or

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data (for Definitive Edition)

Install only one of the files.

To uninstall, just delete the folder.

The only incompatibility I can think of is if you already have a mod that changes the look of the turn order bar.
