About this mod
This gives you two options for increasing Civil Ability points while retaining the point you receive at Level 2. Consider both and make your choice!
- Permissions and credits
- Donations
With two options to choose from, you can choose how many CA points you get by the end of an average playthrough.
How is this different from More Civil Ability Points
Unlike that mod, these options retain the Level 2 point you get in the vanilla game. The game strangely uses an offset number for CA point growth, which must be considered if you edit the variable CivilAbilityLevelGrowth in the game files. If you prefer that mod, then use that one! It's wonderful world we live in where we have the freedom of choice and a plethora of options!
Please Consider the Following
- While these numbers represent the potential total points at max level, the average playthrough ends at around level 20. Anything past about level 20 and you obviously don't get these points because...you've finished the game!
- You cannot put more than 5 points in a single Civil Ability, but gear can take it higher.
- You'll probably want to focus on how many points you get Pre-Level 20, which is listed below for each option.

Requests
The way the game handles Civil Ability points is interesting. You can't just pick a certain number of points you want and make a mod for it. The growth rate is offset by a static offset value, and this limits the number of configurations that are worthwhile. For example, I can't make one where there 14 total points, or 15, or 16. If you were to look in the editor and try our different combinations yourself, you'd see how it functions. It's just the way it is.
