Ever tried the potions and found them lacking in combat? Surprised that some recipes for potions are unavailable? Ever thought that augmentors are downright useless? Want to roleplay as a potion addict who chugs potions in battle? Well, this is mod for you! Potion Vanilla+ increases potion effects, adds new ingredients (powders) and reworked new recipes for all vanilla potions, adds new potions that boost your damage in combat, modified the 5-Star Diner Talent to be able to drink potions and eat food for free in combat, and a Potion Seller NPC that sells potions and ingredients!

Main Features: 
  • Potion effects are more significant; heal more, restore more physical and magic armor, stronger elemental resistance, etc.
  • There are now recipes for all vanilla potions. (Compatible with the Crafter's Kit gift bag)
  • Introduces powder ingredients. Combine raw ingredients with mortar and pestle to produce powders. Combine the powders with an empty potion bottle to produce potions. There are certain powder mixes that can produce special new potions.
  • The High quality and Ultimate quality Augmentor Powders can be made with a new recipe. Crafting next tier potions with them yields 2x (w/ high quality) or 3x (w/ ultimate quality) the product! (This includes other quality powders and tier 2 and 3 essences)
  • Potion mixing (potion + potion) produces an empty potion bottle for more potion making!
  • 5-Star Diner Talent now adds +1 AP upon consuming food or potion while in combat thus effectively consuming for free! It even works with 1 AP left.
  • Adds a new potion seller NPC. Sells 100 of all basic potion ingredients. Sells a special key to his chest that contains potions worthy for a Godwoken!


NEW FEATURES (V 1.1.1):
  • Introduces new Pot Still Recipes:
-Using the pot still to make potions with powders creates the next tier potion (i.e empty potion bottle + penny bun mushroom powder -> minor healing potion (w/o pot still) or medium healing potion (w/ pot still) [only viable for certain potions; refer to the spreadsheet for more details]
-A pot still has been added to the Lady Vengeance near the workshop area
  • New ingredient: Concentrated Augmentor Drops
-Use the pot still with an empty potion bottle and augmentor powders to create concentrated augmentor drops
-Augmentor powder produces 2 concentrated augmentor drops; High quality produces 3 drops; Ultimate quality produces 4 drops
-Concentrated Augmentor Drops act as normal augmentor powder to make upgrading low-tier potions more efficient!

There's a recipe book that adds all potion and powder recipes at the Lucian shrine in Fort Joy on Act 1. Otherwise, it will be near the potion seller.


NOTICE: This is my first time modding D:OS2, so there are some limitations:
  • If you raised the attitude of the potion seller NPC, then it will not carry to the next act, so you will need to raise them again.
  • If you managed to buy the potion seller key, it is for one-time use to prevent overexploitation of opening chests on the next acts. 
  • If you did open the chest and use the permanent potions, then be warned that there are areas that can remove it (e.g. entering the Arena of the One during the Nameless Isle Act removes all statuses for some reason; vanilla blood rose elixir is fine though). I included a fail-safe if this happens when the permanent potion status is removed by anything other than death by adding that potion and automatically consuming it. So, if it seemed to have unmemorized some skills or unequipped some weapons or armor for some odd reason entering a region, then it is because of the fail-safe triggering. If you managed to have both permanent statuses, then only one potion will be automatically consumed since two potions cannot be consumed at the same time. The other potion will be in your inventory and will require no AP to consume if that happens.
  • There may be some recipe conflicts if you learned a recipe before using this mod.


Installation:
-Extract file to C:\Users\MyDocuments\LarianStudios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods
-Open up D:OS2 DE and enable mod in the main menu
