Footprints - Definitive Edition

What is it?
Footprints last much longer now, fading over a longer period of time for added immersion.
This is a re-make of the original mod by Barefoot, who made this for Divinity: Original Sin 2 which can be found here.

What does it do, exactly?
There are a few types of 'footprints' in the game:
Puddles (Blood, Ooze, Oil, etc) and Smears (When you walk through a puddle and on-to a clean surface. Also Sand Footprints.

Puddles have Footprints that last for 28.8 seconds and slowly fade out over this duration. (Except water, because.. it's water. But water still leaves Smears)
Smears also fade out over 28.8 seconds. Sand fades out over 180 seconds.

How do i install it?
Download the file and extract it, and place the folder to your \Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data\ folder.
For a visual aide on what it should look like, you can check this image out.

Why the manual install?
This needs to be installed this way, as the author suggest the packaging of the files to .pak caused issues with Divinity Original Sin 2, and i have not found time and methods or resources on how to package this correctly, just yet. If anyone is up for assisting me with this i would really appreciate it and i can then upload a .pak version if it works as it should.

Testing and known issues?
Testing has been very minimal, only about 20min running around through surfaces and sands to see if everything works. It looks to be working as intended, with the odd issue or two such as elf race randomly having only 1 footprint every now and again, and some footprints in shadows sometimes looking stange, but that's all i have found so far. If you notice any issues please post them so i can check it out.
