I used the version with no guards and have zero problems.  I’m filthy rich and not even on the boat for Driftwood yet.  Endorsed.

With trader difficulty and bodyguards active, this seems to cause some kind of bug where some unrelated NPCs will become hostile after killing some traders.  Unsure if this affects many NPCs throughout the game or just a few; I experienced it in Fort Joy, after killing Gawin (after completing his quest).  A large number of Fort Joy NPCs became hostile for no apparent reason, and some testing showed me that this mod was the source.

Turning off trader difficulty and bodyguards prevented this from happening after killing Gawin.  I have not experimented to see if this issue happens with any other traders/situations in the game yet.

2 Playthrough has been damaged cuz of this issue.

When I go to see the meister to get the spirt vision, the god turn into hostile, and I had to start all over again.

I keep getting this message "We were unable to create a working story. Your add-on setup may be invalid. The game will continue with the setup from the savegame." And that is with just this mod enabled.

I get this as well. By disabling this mod everything else works fine.

So, if I see a dead body, does it have the things it was wearing available or no? Sorry if that's super obv, but idk how this game's mod tools work exactly. It would be freaking awesome if that was the case, though, because especially on Reaper's Coast there are a lot of clothing/armor models that afaik the player cannot obtain (such as on a few of the corpses found around the mind-controlled dwarves in the Mordus questline).

Most NPCs unfortunately don't actually have equippable items - Their armor is a part of their visual set (works the same way as changing your head/face/hair works, but NPCs can have their body/arms/etc set).

Additionally their weapons tend to use stats that start with an underscore (i.e. _ARX_Magister_Melee_Club_2H). Weapons with stats that start with an underscore are NPC items that are hidden from the UI, so they won't be lootable as well unfortunately.

Weapons/armor that will be lootable are potentially NPCs added by mods that use actual items, or perhaps an enemy wielding a unique item.
