About this mod

Let your fancy lizard lady be as color coordinated as she deserves. Get rid of that weird 'blue-eyed + red-tips' look, because your eye color can now match your crest and neck frills! This is just a small edit made for personal use, but I thought I would upload it in case others happen to like this face and hair combo on the female lizard.

What is it?

This is a simple color edit for one of the female lizard heads and two of the female lizard hairs. Basically, I was unhappy with how my blue hydrosophist lizard had these red tips on her head and hair. Red = fire. Everyone knows that. And she's supposed to look watery. Outrageous.

So I went in, found the texture files, and changed the red tips to a light blue so it could be matchy-matchy. And then I went ahead and did the rainbow while I was there in case I changed my mind. There are 8 colors to choose from: dark blue, light blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, and a turquoise color that's similar to source.

How can I make my lizard look like this?

This shouldn't disable achievements or do anything crazy as it's just a texture override (i.e. it does not add 8 new heads and 16 new hairs, it just overrides the vanilla colors on the existing models). If you are a user of 'Younger and smoother faces' (here) this works the exact same way. To use both hairs at once like I do in the screenshots and to access a broader range of skin colors, you will want to grab 'Character creation plus' (here) and 'More character colors' (here) if you haven't already. All three of these mods are amazing.

To install:

- download the file
- unzip it and select which color you want (a screenshot is included in each color folder as well as an extra folder with all screenshots)
- in each color folder there is a folder named 'Public', copy/cut it
- paste the 'Public' folder into the 'Data' folder where Dos2 is installed, and that's it.
- if you already have a public folder in your data folder, overriding it should just add these to the correct paths. If it doesn't, then you simply can go into the public folder from my mod and manually place the lizard textures where they should be in your public folder.
- to uninstall, just undo what you did here and delete the public folder. The textures will switch back to how they originally were.

NOTE. The location of your data folder will be different depending on where you have installed your game and whether you are using the normal version or the definitive version of the game.

Here are some install path examples of the normal game:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ Divinity Original Sin 2\Data
E:\GAMES\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\Data

And the definitive edition:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data
E:\GAMES\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data
