Happily Emmie After is a mod to the DOS 2 campaign that re-designs the “Finding Emmie” quest, offering players a chance to give Buddy and Emmie a happy ending. The quest begins in Fort Joy and can be resolved before leaving the island, though the epilogue and final wrap up takes place on the Lady Vengeance after escaping.

NOTE: Due to the number of modifications made to this quest, it is unlikely to work from a previous save game file created from Fort Joy onward that
did not have the mod enabled at that time!

For veteran players, or anyone who wants to experience the quest without completing all the other content in the tutorial or Fort Joy, we also offer the Furry Tails Adventurer's Guide. This additional mod will provide each player with a book that enables quick travel to key locations, the ability to quickly finish the
tutorial or Fort Joy, and provide power ups that grant Pet Pal, leveling, or gold.

The Furry Tails Adventurer's Guide is an optional helper mod intended to expedite completion of the Happily Emmie After adventure in a spoiler free manner. With this mod enabled, you will be given a book that offers special abilities such as:

* Quick traveling to key locations and characters.

* Advancing the story so you can skip the tutorial, or leave Fort Joy so you can quickly get to the Buddy and Emmie epilogue on the Lady Vengeance.

* Obtain power ups such as granting the Pet Pal talent, leveling up your character (max level 6), or giving your character gold (max 5,000).

With the use of this Adventurer's Guide, you can start a new game and still experience the Buddy and Emmie storyline in a relatively quick and efficient manner without having to do the other content in the tutorial or Fort Joy.

NOTE: There are some options in the Adventurer's Guide that only unlock after reaching certain stages in the adventure in order to avoid spoilers, so keep an eye on the options!
