About this mod

A small mod that reworks some aspects of the summoning skill.

There are a total of 4 different files and different compatibility for each one, please read each one and decide which one is best for your gaming experience.


File 1 - Main Fail - Summoner Rework

What it does:
-Increase number of summons you can have from 1 to 3
-Reduces the cooldown times of Incarnate, Wolf, and Bone Widow by 2
  -Incarnate and Wolf are now a cooldown of 4  
  -Bone Widow is now a coodown of 3
-Increase Bone Widow duration to 6 from 5

How it does it:
-Alters the _hero in stats table as well as the individual skills for Incarnate, Wolf, and Bone Widow

Compatibility Issues:
-Will not work with any mods that alter the 3 individual skills of incarnate, wolf, and bone widow as well as any mods that alter _hero line such as more AP.

File 2 - Increased Summons

What it does:
-Increases the amount of summons you can have in the game by 3

How it does it:
-Alters the _hero line in stats table

Compatibility Issues:
-Will not work with any mods altering _hero states table such as more AP and Summoner Rework

File 3 - More Powerful Incarnate (WARNING READ BELOW)

What it does:
-Allows you to summon a more powerful Incarnate
  -50% more Physical and Magical Armor
  -50% more Health
  -Increases Max AP and Starting AP of the Incarnate by 2
  -Ranged Infusion additional skill Glitter Dust
  -Poison/Acid Incarnates gain skill Contamination
  -Water/Ice Incarnates gain skill Ice Fan
  -Electric Incarnates gain skill Dazing Bolt
  -Fire Incarnates gain skill Fire Whip
  -Oil Incarnates gain skill Impalement
  -Blood Incarnates gain skill Decaying Touch

How it does it:
-It overrides the Summon Incarnate skill to summon unique template Incarnates to gain buffs to their stats.
-It overrides the INF_(Status) Status Data to allow for additional skills
  -Because this overrides a global status data, any summon that gains any of the INF_(Stats) will also gain these abilites.

Compatibility Issues:
-Will not work with any mods that alter the stats table for Summon Skill as well as any that alter INF_(Status) lines as well
-Not compatible with Summoner Rework

WARNING
-I wanted to state a warning on using this specific mod.  While I have tested all the skills and they are working properly I don't know of the following possible issues.
  -Enemy summons can gain these skills and might not be able to figure out what to do with them.  3 possible outcomes.
    -They use the skills properly and the mod works as intended.
    -They don't know what to do with the skill so they ignore them.  I am okay with this, I am not going to go alter AI scripts.
    -They don't know what to do with the skill and which skills they should use now making them not do anything at all.  
      -Worst case situation.
        -What you can do to help!  If you got a save where an enemy infuses their summons with one of the mentioned ones above, please tell me how it
  goes.  I would like to know the outcome of this situation.
-The incarnate also doesn't have the proper animations for all these additional skills.  While it will still animate an cast it, somethings maybe missing.  For example in Fire Whip, he doesn't have its chain.
    -I cannot fix this at this time, I don't know how to attach a bone vector on the actual model as I can't figure out where to alter models with the engine.

File 4 - Increased Max AP and Summons

What it does:
-Gives you 2 additional Max AP you can have, making a total of 8.
-Increases the number of summons you can have to 3

How it does it:
-Alters the _hero line in stats table
-Will not work with any mods altering _hero states table such as more AP and Summoner Rework

Q: The mods do not work properly
A: Have you tried to run the mods by itself?  It may be a compatibility issue.

Q: Where do I put the file
A: Should be in your Mod Folder in the Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2.

Q: Will it work with my saves?
A: Yes, this game will work with any existing saves.

Q: Will I be fixing the animations for the More Powerful Incarnate
A: I don't think I can, not with my current understanding of the engine.  If I figure it out, of course I would fix it.
