Update:
Done! I can now proudly say every single skill combo has a source and non source skill for it! Thanks to all of you for your support and help as I've made this mod. However I dont plan to stop any time soon on this mod and am looking at ways to take it further. My current plans for this are:

  • More custom visuals and icons
  • Relooking at some of the earlier skills I've made
  • Balance
  • More Hybrid skills!

What is this?


This is a mod I made to increase the number of craftable skillbooks, by adding new hybrid spells with skill combinations that aren’t in the base game (e.g. Hydro + Pyro).  Eventually, I will make it so combining any two skill books will yield a result.

Obtaining the Spells

All spells can be made via a crafting recipe. The recipes are like in the base game: to make the normal skill combine two non-source skill books from the combat skills you want to use and to make a source skillbook you combine skillbooks from the two combat skills with at least one being a source book. 

On top of the regular Skills there are also some Ultimate Skills I've added. These are Powerful skills that require Source Books from multiple Combat Skills to make. They can only be used once per battle and you can only have one memorised per character at any time. See the document below for more details.

Additionally, I have added a Vendor, Selena, next to the mirror in Lady Vengeance. She will sell every spell I've made for this mod except Archon (I want that to be crafting only). Unfortunately I cannot add any voicework to her due to editor limitations but this is the best way to avoid clashes with other mods.

This Mod is a work in progress, some of the skills are done and there will almost definitely need to be some rebalancing based on feedback, so leave a comment and let me know what you think!

V1.2.0.0

- Mirror Shield (this is the last time I change this I swear) has been renamed to Thorned Armor. It doesn't require a shield anymore. Reflect 40% of Melee damage as Piercing damage
- Added 3 Ultimate Skills! See Document for more details
- Archon has become an ultimate skill with its memorisation requirements changed to match the others.
- FInally fixed the Range on Sniper Stance
- Vampiric Bite has become "Drink Blood" It now applies Anaemia as well
- Resuscitate now only restores 45% Health

V1.1.1.0

- Renamed Magma burst to Molten Burst and Magma Core to Volcanic Portal
- Molten has been Completely Reworked: It is now a 3 stage status that sets a slow which gets progressively worse and a phys resistance penalty that gets progressively better. with each stage. See Document above to see how it fully works.
- Scald now applies Scalded Skin to wet enemies, which reduces water and fire resists.
- Purifying Water has been renamed to Blessed Geyser. It now only shoots 2 projectiles but the steamclouds created are bigger.
- Soothing mists now applies Wet
- Solar Flare has become Divine smite. It no longer applies burn but instead creates a fire surface in the area of effect. Undead hit by the flare have Fear applied to them. Divine smite is now a 3 SP skill
- Army of the dead skeletons now correctly are immune to Poison and have the opportunist talent.
- Anaemia now also applies a -2 CON penalty
- The Damage skills from Vampire lord and Vampire form no longer require a dagger. They do scale with finesse rather than weapon damage however.
- Infective shot has been renamed to Blighting shot. It now only fires one arrow and applies Blighted. See document above for details.
Festering Wall has become Wall of flesh. It now creates Cursed blood around the wall and sets Rotting Plague on nearby enemies. See document for details. Also the visual has been changed to be more fleshy.
- Dragonhide has become Mirror shield. It is a stance that gives reflection and elemental resists at the expense of damage. Requires a shield to use. 
- Various visual and UI changes.

- General Graphical and visual changes.
- Added skills for Poly + Huntsman and Poly + Summoning
- Added Source skills for Poly + Warfare
- The non Source skill for huntsman + summoning has been changed to "conjure chaos arrow"
- The Source skill for Necro + Summoning has been changed to "Army of the Dead"
- Soul binding has been changed to the non source skill for Poly + Summoning and renamed to "Transmute corpse" Nothing else about it has changed.

- Archon Form has been reworked to Elemental Archon. The buffs have increased but apply a debuff after expiry that reverses the stat changes and slows for 1 turn. It also now requires 2 in each of the 4 elements to use.

- Replaced the Pyro + Aero Source Skill with Solar Flare

Installation
Just extract the .pak file to your mod directory (for me its documents/larian studios/divinity original sin 2/mods) and enable it on the main menu and you're good to go!
