    seems the mod doesn't work when these skills are already learned?

      Could you be more specific?
      I tried starting a new clean game and then activating mod with Bulls horns already learned but didn't have an issue so further clarification would help(aka other mods, what ability you tried etc).

      From what I see of the mod installing my mod would be redundant as it also has 'perma' buffs and cancel skills built in, but your question on whether they are compatible would be no, they both change the same polymorph skills.

    Brilliant idea, thank you! I agree that it makes Poly a tad too powerful, but in a single player game, I really don't care much about balance. This makes the game significantly more fun to play, and that's all that counts. No longer re-casting the same old buff every two seconds. Besides, flying around with perma-wings just owns. ;)

    Wenn man mit einem Mod spielt, wo die Gruppenmitglieder von der KI gesteuert werden, dann setzen diese die neuen Polymorph-Talente nicht ein, bzw. verwandeln sie sich gar nicht erst. Also die Flügel gehen nicht, die Hörner auch nicht und die Medusa auch nicht. Den Rest habe ich noch nicht probiert, weil ich immer vorher dann aufgehört habe.
    Wollte meine Sebille zu Polymorph machen, aber wenn die gar nicht die Talente anwendet mit der AI, dann ist das natürlich mist.
    Ohne den Mod nutzt sie aber die Polymorph-Talente..hmm Schade..

      Haven't really learned German, but you are saying that Sybille doesn't use the initial polymorph to change body when AI, or that she doesn't use the skill acquired by having the appendage when controlled by AI?

      In Fight my AI Grpmember with Polymorph dont use the Skills except chicken...
      Without yours Mod they use all Polymorph skills..

      Where is the bug?

      I loved when Sybille is a Polymorph-Charakter.. but when she dont use the skills than is this useless for my game style with AI Mod..

      So most likely I inverted my intentions and made the Polymorph skills have the "AI CanNotUse" flag to the shouts themselves vs having them on the cancel skill, unfortunately I had to get a new HDD not long ago and moved my files over to another and reinstalled now. The issue is then that Larian changed some file names and standards in the editor during this period it seems and I can't seem to find a way of converting the plain txt file that contains the skills data to a type the editor understands.
      So basically I'll have manually recreate the projects to get it to work(unless someone knows a way), atm I'm busy with studies+illness so don't really have time for doing the drudgework of remaking em/fidning a way of converting it.

    The Chamelon Cloak from Toggle Poly Buffs does not break after attacking or casting. It results to invisible enemies who stay invisible forever.

    Could you make version of Buffs file without changes to Cloak skill. Thanks :).

      Added a PlayerOnly optional file that should make their durations the vanilla values for the enemies/also fix the issue with invisibility not being removed from enemies.

    Please help.

    After the recent update on Oct. 26th, all of my saves using the Polymorph Appendages mod no longer work. They either crash the game upon attempting to load, or load with my custom characters deleted, including every character in the entire world. I am then prompted that I have no characters and must be assigned a character.

    I was able to test with other mods, and it is most certainly this one preventing the game from loading properly. Specifically, my husband tested the same mods we use on our co-op session with his many solo games. He was able to get all of them to load with every single mod except for this one. This one crashes his game or deletes the characters as described. He is able to turn off the mod and reload and his characters reappear. This is not the case for our co-op game, as his main character constantly has Bull Horns and Spread Your Wings active. So the game simply crashes when the mod is turned off since all of our saves and quick saves have his main character donning them, and I suppose the game can't load them on the character in this way?

    I hope a solution can be found...

      I've been troubleshooting and it seems the recent patch royally borked up a lot of mods and made a lot of campaigns unloadable as they crash. It seems the patch somehow ties some mods to savefiles even though they shouldn't. I'll be looking at their forums and reddit to see if there is a fix/root cause.
      I believe there is a method to downgrade from the patch, you could potentially try that, disable mod and then make a save file without the mod and see what happens when you load that modless savefile after upgrading afterwards.
      Edit: Seems the option is gone from steam, maybe GoG version has it

      Editx2: Seems they released a hotfix that should fix the issues, at least the test save I made to troubleshoot the issue seems to be working fine with mod either active or inactive now.

      I'll give it a try. I was just in the process of reversing all of the update. By deleting all of the patched files, shutting off auto update, verifying files to replace the ones I deleted, and then starting the game, I was able to downgrade the version back to before the patch. I loaded everything up and it worked fine. I then turned off every single mod and saved the game so that it is technically vanilla. Now I'm in the process of reapplying the update to see if everything works as it should.And then I'm going to reapply the mods to see how it works. I don't use many mods, so it should be obvious which ones are still troubling.

      Edit: After completing the update, I can't load any save with or without mods. They simply load up with all characters deleted. I guess I'll just stick with my rollback until Larian can figure it out...

      Edit#2: Also, to inform you, the hotfix did fix the crashing with the polymorph mod. It and new games I made to test loaded up just fine. The issue is now a Leadership mod I had which extended the radius of the Leadership stat. It seems the Leadership mod is the one responsible for the deleted characters. The crashing was caused by the polymorph mod, which has been fixed by Larian's Hot Fix.

    So been using this mod since I first started playing.

    I have a question about usage.

    I currently use the main Toggle file v1.0 and Toggle Skins v1.0 without issue.

    If I want to have all the features (main mod, skins and buffs [medusa head for me]) minus Toggle Apotheosis, do I need all 3 files? And should I have them loaded in a specific order?

      They all are independent(except Halved CD) from each other, only time load order may matter is if another mod entirely uses same skill in SkillData or same status in StatusData. The halved cooldown version does use same data as main file so they are mutually exclusive.

      Thank you for clarifying, just added in the updated skins and the Buffs to my game. Now prepared for more situations like needing more armour and not necessarily elemental resistance ( my main has roughly 50% resist to all except poison which is 200 since i'm undead ).

    After the latest patch, this is one of my mods that causes the game to crash when i load my savegame. Worked just fine before the patch tho. Is there some way to fix that?

    Edit: The skin version causes the crash, the appendages work just fine

      I have looked into it and possibly fixed it(if doesn't fix it let me now) as V1.1 of the skins file.

      Just comparing the Shared's skill data with mine, this isn't the most complex mod its literally minor skill/status tweaks with some icons so scripted mods etc would be a whole 'nother beast.

      Ok, thanks for telling me. My mod isn't all that complex either, so I thought I might find a way to fix it. I haven't uploaded it to the nexus yet, but I run the Character Creation Plus mod on the Steam Workshop. For some reason, all of my edits (adding hair/beard face options) don't show up in game anymore.

    An incredible mod, thanks. Can't live without it, and made an account from work to offer this;

    Any plans to also include the 'Skin' spells in the next update? Ice Skin, Jellyfish Skin, and so on? They're essentially harmless as a toggle and great for flavor.

      At this point I guess I'll just add all the polymorph spells that affect self over duration I guess, even Apotheosis(named cheat mode cus yeah). Should be up maybe tomorrow, may vary depending on certain things.

      Skins were added same day as prev reply, been busy with other games+Uni stuff so haven't bothered with Medusa/chameleon/heart or Apotheosis yet.

    I just discovered something very weird about the halved-cooldown version: For some reason, the name and description in the tooltip has "|" on either side, so that instead of "Spread Your Wings", it says "|Spread Your Wings|" and so on.

      That is actually a slight modification made in the Shared(aka vanilla) version, probably yesterdays patch, you might be recalling the description from before that patch.

      if not, find the pak extractor (google search " DOS 2 pak extractor), and use that to extract the mod, go into the public folder you find there, and if you see it, delete the "localization" folder entirely. then repack the mod.

      deleting the localization folder with cause the mod not to override the vanilla game descriptions, which have changed with patches since the mod was written. If there is no localization folder, then you are either seeing the vanilla descriptions as they are, or another mod you are using is overriding them.

      or, you can go in and edit the descriptions manually if you like, though then if they change again in a future patch, you would need to repeat the process to stay current.

      note none of this affects how the mod functions; only the descriptions used for the skills in game.
