Thank you so much - managed to do it all online using "photopea.com" to do the image editing, then "convertio.co" to convert the PSD to DDS. Then made a new folder and BAM! Let the Vi & Caitlyn playthrough commence!

How do I change the Ingame portrait with the custom one?
I create a new character and in the creation menu , I check all the face, head but the portrait still the same 3d as the character instead of custom portrait.
Btw, I purchased the Definition Edition on Steam, so the path will be:

"\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\" instead of "\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\"

wrong game here.... this is Divinity original Sin Enhanced Edition or DoSEE, you are talking about Divinity Original Sin 2 or DoS2.... you should check for the other mode page on Nexus.....

Just perfect, Thanks a lot. the files are perfectly structured and the templates are super easy to adjust. I used GimpV2 and had no problem to replace some of your Icons with the Witcher portraits. Even the export plugins for DDS files are already standard in Gimp and caused no problem. Quality of your pics is also very good.

I also used this to create my own portraits from screenshots; I recommend using the mod Improved Camera (https://rd.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin/mods/113?tab=description) to get better angles.

If you want to change the portrait for an already existing character, just place the new portrait over the one you use (for that character) in the editable file.

This is really useful. What i did was take screenshots of my characters and cropped and pasted them into the file, that way it matched my ingame character exactly. Its too bad the game doesn't let you do this instead of a bunch of random portrait images that don't look like any of the character creations.

Hello, I'm sorry to say I could not see the portrait come up in my game, what I did was downloaded the folder, then put the data folder into \Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\,(There is nothing else inside the folder other than Divinity original sin exe) , and start the game, and start creating new character, no new portraits show up, could you help me? thank you

Thank you, most modders don't bother about these details; to lend others part of their experience. Saved me a lot of time, thumbs up
