I recently brought a DualSense controller for my PC, and decided to install Divinity Original Sin. Unfortunately I was unable to find a way to change the onscreen icons to match the new controller. (There is no option for that in the in-game menus, like in Original Sin 2, nor was I able to find a mod that does it.) So I started looking into the game files, downloaded a couple of programs (JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler and the ExportTool zip file) and found that the textures and icons were already present on the game files. So I change some textures and some file names and now everything seems to be working just fine. (I wasn't expecting to succeed, if I have to be sincere.)
This game has such a beautiful interface, and even when it was originally designed to be payed with keyboard and mouse the work made by Larian Studios to bring controller support to it is stellar. But having the wrong icons displayed on the screen was less than ideal, so I had to do something about it. And this mod is what I did.
If you are using a DualShock or a DualSense this is the mod for you. Hope you like it.
