This brings the Run Speed value from 5 to 8 in Epic Encounters.  This only modifies the out of combat movement speed for those who'd prefer to not take as long getting to their destination.

It also enforces the Walk Speed setting of 2.66 in Epic Encounters across all settings/entries in case the conflicting 2.0 setting in some files was causing any unknown issues.

Installation & Compatibility

This is compatible with all current versions of Epic Encounters (including XC_Encounters).  I am not offering support for this mod.  It is as it stands.  If you'd like to see the discussion with the Developers which lead to this creation please see the Steam Discussion where the Developer granted permission for upload.

You must manually install this mod.  It does not take up the "single mod slot" allowed in Divinity Original Sin, which is why it is compatible with Epic Encounters.

Please note that I made this Mod for the 4man XC_Encounters version of Epic Encounters.  Which is why the two folder names in this mod are named the way they are.  If you are installing this mod for the base Epic Encounters (or another version) you MUST rename 2 folders when manually installing.

If you don't rename these 2 folders then that's on you.  End of story.  The two file paths of note are:
  • Data\Mods\XC_Encounters_08883d92-3f51-4491-8c29-6567ead01471
  • Data\Public\XC_Encounters_08883d92-3f51-4491-8c29-6567ead01471

For example, if you're using Epic Encounters then you'd likely need to rename these two folders to:
  • Data\Mods\Epic_Encounters_071a986c-9bfa-425e-ac72-7e26177c08f6
  • Data\Public\Epic_Encounters_071a986c-9bfa-425e-ac72-7e26177c08f6

The BEST POSSIBLE action on your part is to go into your game folder where DOS is installed in Steam and manually check (and copy) the name of the mod version you're using.  Copy THAT folder name and replace the 2 folder names in the file paths listed above.

For example my copy of DOS is installed here:
  • C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition

Yours will likely be installed elsewhere, simply navigate to your Steam install folder to find the folder name of the mod version that you are using.
