Update (1-30-19)

Added a new version of this mod that works with Epic Encounters, you'll need that mod and any other optional mods you use for it. My version is entirely separate and won't interfere with anything like 6 Man Party or what not.

Update (12-5-16)

So I've played through the tutorial and west of Cyseal in Tactician mode several times trying to test out some class combinations; I always use Zombie and in doing so I've tested this mod a good deal. Poison Wand damage is actually very balanced and offers a readily available, ranged, small heal that can be buffed with a "spec" (dual wielding/wand skills, stats, and equipment). There are also inherent penalties as well such as the fact that poison wand attacks against some enemies are ineffective (spiders and objects like barrels); barrels cannot be destroyed using "Earth" wands now.

As it stands I'm very pleased with this mod and all I may look into is giving Poison Wand projectiles the poisoned effect (for one turn most likely).

Short Description

Won't get too detailed about this, will say that this changes the damage type of Earth Wands to poison. In addition, the visual fx of the wand projectile also change to match that of poison (neat!).

Long Description

I use the Zombie trait in Classic D:OS and with Enhanced Edition I felt that they really screwed over Zombie and Leech to the point that taking them broke their concept. They were overpowered in classic edition but Larian basically scrapped every form of poison healing besides food, grenades, arrows, environment, and two spells (sounds like a lot but those options aren't all that polished; Zombie healing options never seemed completed).

This mod is intended to offer a core healing option to Zombie trait characters (as well as undead summons).

Will this mod be overpowered? I don't know, play around with it and see how you like it. The concept seems aligned with what Earth Wands should have been.

Issues

Currently there's some kind of notification that the mod won't work for multiplayer, no idea what that's about but it works just fine for me in-game.

Compatibility

Likely with anything that changes the Weapon.txt file. If you know of a conflicting mod feel free to ask for a compatibility patch.
