I put every string through multiple rounds of automated translation, resulting in a hot mess. Granny Rags is now Grandma Hugs. It goes downhill from there.

Permissions and credits
Ever wanted to understand Dishonored a lot less? This mod put every string through multiple rounds of Amazon translate, resulting in a hot mess. The languages used were English --> French --> Japanese --> Russian/Arabic --> English (used russian for about half of them and arabic for the other half).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Change your Dishonored language to English if it isn't already.
  • Make a backup of Dishonored\DishonoredGame\Localization\INT so that you can revert back to the sanity later. (Ex. just rename the existing folder to INT_backup or something, or copy it somewhere else)
  • Unzip backup_INT_directory_and_replace_with_this.zip into Dishonored\DishonoredGame\Localization\ so that it replaces the existing INT/ folder.

UNINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Delete the INT folder added by this mod and replace it with the backup of the original you made earlier. You did make a backup, right?
