About this mod
Replaces the portraits for the main character (with and without the expression, unshaven only), Kim and all skills, implementing their aborted Final Cut counterparts. This is achieved by simply overwriting an asset file, thus not relying on any third part addons and being compatible with the most recent version of the game, unlike the alternatives

Conceptualization
Art is, like, transient, man. Sure, the vanilla portraits have that avant-garde pop art flair that is very disco but everybody needs a change of pace sometimes. This mod will replace the following images with the alternative versions you see in the preview screenshots:
Interfacing
No third-party installation mumbo-jumbo. Simply navigate to your installation folder and, from there, dig all the way to Disco Elysium\Disco Elysium_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64 - that's where you'll find a very specific file called portraits_assets_all_20cb6ebb4142293ab462ee211f2e2afc.bundle.
Backup that file somewhere safe (or not, if you are a daredevil like that) and then overwrite it with the downloaded mod file - done.
Half Light
This was made with the GOG version - I doubt Steam's that much different but that's why the backup above could come in handy. I don't foresee any updates at this time.

- Main character, unshaven, The Expression: Carry The Expression with you - it is no longer bound to the mirror.
- Main character, unshaven, no Expression: Look like a serious detective doing serious detective work.
- Kim: Kitsuragi gets a matching portrait for consistency and extra splash art swag.
- All skills: The reviled prototype Final Cut skills are back to haunt purists everywhere.
