Build in peace! Mobs can no longer spawn within a set distance of any fences or paths you place. No more need to worry about your tranquil riverside town being ambushed each morning by a fresh swarm of crocs.
By default, both paths and fences prevent spawns within an 11x11 square centered on them (extending 5 tiles in each direction). The size of this area and which items can block spawns are configurable.
