About this mod
This mod gives you in-game information on museum collectibles available in the current season that you haven't donated yet. It works for fish, bugs, and underwater creatures, and will tell you the time(s) of day as well as the biome(s) you need to search.
- Permissions and credits
This mod is designed to help with 100% completing the museum collection, but in a more casual way. If you type "help me find a fish", "help me find a bug", or "help me find a creature" into the chat box, the game will pick a random not-donated collectible of that type to tell you about, and it will prioritize ones that are not available in all seasons. If you type "help me find a donation" instead, it will pick one of any of the three categories that has something available.
Capitalization and spacing do not matter, so "helpmefindafish" also works, for example. You can use the chat history to repeat a search, so for example on keyboard, you can hit enter, up, enter to ask it again. It will always tell you about collectibles not available in every season before it tells you about ones available in every season.
This mod is meant to be used in a more casual in-game way, as in "I feel like fishing tomorrow. Where's a good spot, and when?". If you want a more thorough and straightforward collection helper, you should use the checklist mod by Snaitf.
This is a standard BepInEx 6 mod, so follow the standard Dinkum modding instructions and put the DLL file in your plugins folder. It does not create a config file, so you can disable its function by uninstalling it, which is safe at any time because it does not affect your save file in any way.
