In this video we look at whether modding Diablo 2 Resurrected will result in Blizzard banning your Battle.net account. 

This is an updated version of my previous video on whether modding Diablo 2 Resurrected will result in a ban. In my previous video, I made some mistakes, and my tests were not extensive enough. This resulted in me incorrectly concluding that modding Diablo 2 Resurrected and running a Battle.net character would not result in a ban. This is something that cannot be conclusively said at this time. It is better to err on the side of caution.

Blizzard have been quiet about this whole situation so far, so we're not certain whether modding Diablo 2 Resurrected and loading an online character is risky or not.

It's advisable to keep a separate shortcut for modded Diablo 2 Resurrected (i.e. one with the "-direct -txt" or "-mod" commands), and only launch your online character through the Battle.net launcher.
