This mod significantly slows down the leveling process in Diablo 2 Resurrected by a customizable factor (default: 4x slower), making progression more challenging and rewarding. To balance the increased time investment, you receive skill and attribute points at the same increased rate-meaning for every level gained, you earn four times the usual points. This allows for deeper character customization and build diversity as you progress.

Since it’s not possible to exceed level 127, it offers the feeling of progressing up to level 400 by extending the time and points gained per level. This creates a longer, more strategic journey while empowering your character with more points to spend along the way.

Known Issues
Normally, experience (EXP) gain in the game is capped based on monster level - once you surpass a certain threshold, you stop receiving EXP from lower-level monsters. However, with this mod’s slower leveling, your character’s level will remain low for a longer time, allowing you to continuously gain significant EXP from monsters. As a result, you’ll receive 4 skill points per level and become very powerful, while monsters remain at a lower difficulty. This can quickly make the game feel unbalanced and less challenging.

To keep the gameplay engaging, I recommend using the Stronger Monsters mod, for example, by increasing monster HP by 10x. This will help maintain a fun and challenging experience.
