About this mod

A fixed and updated version of Cbraqz's "D2R Simple Loot Filter". Mostly takes after their filter in many ways but also has some of my personal preferences applied to it.

You can play online with this filter if you want to, or don't. Been using a filter since launch of D2R, still not banned. Blizzard likely enforces consistency for files that they don't want modified thus you're limited to what you can do regardless, unless you start injecting into the game.

Installation:

1. Extract archive into your "Diablo II Resurrected\mods" directory (if you don't have that folder, create it)
2. Goto D2R on Bnet launcher, click gear icon near "Play", click "Game Settings", check "Additional command line arguments"
3. Add "-mod Filter -txt" to the text box below, and click "Done"
4. Play

Changes/fixes include:

#Runes
Bigger pickup box for runes number 20+
Rune numbering (1) - (33)

Bullet points added instead of "~"

Changed rune numbers to align with Glowing Runes by pakon
  • White numbers
    El(1) to Ral(8) = Normal Countess
  • Blue numbers
    Ort(9) to Io(16) = Nightmare Countess
  • Orange numbers
    Lum(17) to Ist(24) = Hell Countess
  • Red numbers
    Gul(25) to Zod(33)

#Gems
Gem Quality
(-) Chipped
(+) Flawed
(=) Normal
(*) Flawless
(@) Perfect
Have been changed to less minimalized versions i.e.

  • (-) Chipped - Chip
  • (+) Flawed - Flaw
  • (=) Normal - Reverted to default due to duplicate usage as a name and affix.
  • (*) Flawless - Flawless
  • (@) Perfect - Perfect

Yes, they're basically restored right? I do this because you want desired items to be larger tooltip wise to make easier/faster to click. Along with this the actual gem name is colored accordingly for visibility.

#Potions
Antidote (*A) green
Thawing   (*T) yellow
Have been changed into less abbreviated versions i.e.

  • Antidote (*A) green - Antidote (Dark Green)
  • Thawing (*T) yellow - Thawing (Yellow) - Reverted to white to prevent unique confusion

I like abbreviating things too, but sometimes too much, is too much.

#Health
1HP, 2HP, 3HP, 4HP, 5HP (Red)

#Mana
1MP, 2MP, 3MP, 4MP, 5MP (Blue)
Nothing changed

#Rejuvination
35 V, 100 V (Purple)
Changed to be a little larger i.e.

  • 35JV - 35JUV
  • 100JV - 100JUV

To be fair, this is just a personal preference.

Stamina (Blank)
Exploding (Blank)
Fulminating (Blank)
Oil (Blank)
Stangling (Blank)
Choking Gas (Blank)
Rancid Gas (Blank)
Changed to be present at least, they have been abbreviated as they're almost never used i.e.

  • Stamina Potion - Stamina (Default text color)
  • Fulminating Potion, Exploding Potion, Oil Potion - Fire Pot 1, Fire Pot 2, Fire Pot 3 (Numbered based on damage and level requirement)
  • Strangling Gas Potion, Choking Gas Potion, Rancid Gas Potion - Gas Pot 1, Gas Pot 2, Gas Pot 3 (Numbered based on damage and level requirement)

Moderately abbreviated, still reduces tooltip size decently.

#Jewels
Bigger pickup box

#Charms
Small Charm (Red)
Grand Charm (Red)

Small & Grand charms changed to light blue - Better difference between rune recolors.

#Scrolls
Town Portal (Blue)
|TP

Identify (Red)
|ID

#Gold
g (Gold)

#Key
K (White)
Changed and fixed and added

  • |TP - Portal (Blue)
  • |ID - Identify (Red)
  • g - Reverted to default due to duplicate usage as a name and affix.
  • K - Key (It's three letters dude)

I also restored Arrows and Bolts but they are grey now, I think item awareness is important. I can't stand having blank tooltips of items, I need to know all things.

#Invis/Blank
Affixes
Low Quality
Damaged
Cracked
Crude
Nothing changed

These are mostly fine for me, it only blanks the affix but you still see the item. Grey bullet point added for clarity.
