I've been making this mod a few day before the launch of the DMC collab event in PGR and planned to release it on the same day. But since I was still new to using 010 Editor, I had to spent a few days learning and figuring out which parts of the files I actually needed to change. And now it's here, with some additional buffs.
This mod conflicts with my other mod Sparda's Sons Buffed. However, I may integrate both of the mods into one and the same—and may extend it to their boss variants in the future, if I really took my time learning the files deeper.
If you guys really want it, do tell me in the post tab. I'm a type of person who took really long ass time to finish something, but merging the buffs of both mods together is something I’m leaning toward, as of writing this.
[The Buffs]
- Vergil
Lock-on range slightly extended to 60 meters.
Air Trick is now extremely fast, with no delay.
Overdrive's charge has been significantly reduced to match his PGR counterpart.
Beowulf's charge now matches his PGR version.
The stay time for Summon Swords/Mirage Blades before shooting out now matches his PGR counterpart [2 frames] and comes with increased range:
Level 1: 20 meters
Level 2: 40 meters
Level 3: 60 meters
The cost of Spiral, Storm, Blistering, and Heavy Rain Blades is now halved.
The size of all Summon Swords/Mirage Blades has been increased to resemble their appearance in DMC3, DMC4: Special Edition, and PGR.
Block and Parry now deplete the Concentration Gauge 5 times less than before.
Trick Dodge is much more forgiving, consuming 6 times less Concentration when used repeatedly.
Activating Doppelganger now only costs 1 DT Gauge instead of 1.5.
Doppelganger now heals you very slowly and its duration depletes slightly slower.
Sin Devil Trigger now heals you twice as fast. [Intended for it to be both a buff and usable in Coop]
- Dante
Lock-on range has been slightly extended to 60 meters.
Royal Block is now easier, with a 15-frame window.
Round Trip throw speed has been increased to match with Vergil's.
Million Stabs for all three swords now lasts almost as long as Vergil's, and button mashing is easier.
Balrog now stays active 3 times longer.
Pyromania has been sped up to match Vergil’s Kick 13 speed.
Air Trick and Ground Trick teleport you farther and closer to enemies.
Devil Sword Dante's Drive now charges instantly.
Sword Formation activation time for all three levels have been significantly reduced.
All levels now share the same activation speed.
Each level now acts as a duration selector for how long the swords will remain active:
Level 1: 30 seconds
Level 2: 60 seconds
Level 3: 90 seconds
QuadS Transformation time has been extended to match Vergil's.
Sin Devil Trigger duration has been slightly extended.
Sin Devil Trigger Advent is now faster, and the range has been slightly increased to match the new Lock-on range.
Sin Inferno now deals moderately more damage and has reduced endlag.
Judgement now costs the same SDT Gauge amount as Vergil’s super moves.
I did not speed up the Faust Hat charge for an obvious reason
