Included is an addon to make the scalp hair white all the time to match the hair model. It looks slightly better sometimes, there's less black showing underneath the hair strands, but it can cause the tattoos around the neck to mismatch more often. They still mismatch without changing the head textures because V has to be unique and difficult, but it might be more obvious with it enabled. It's up to you if you prioritise the hair looking good or the tattoos.
The gameplay hair is whiter than the cutscene hair; I tried to make them equal but whatever worked perfectly for the cutscene didn't work perfectly for the gameplay and now I'm officially calling it a feature and NOT a bug. Sometimes it felt like I just restarted the game and it looked different. I could probably be convinced to deposit more of my life-time-savings into this slot-machine of a hair MDF, but for now, it is what it is.
I don't know why the roots look dark sometimes. The lore explanation is that he bleached his hair to make it match his DT form and with all the events of the game, he forgot to keep up with the root treatments. Something like that.
