Permissions and credits
Update
v1.100001 - Added a mod pack that includes both Red and Black versions. Changed mod title in the .rar for the sake of mod list organization in Fluffy Manager
v1.1 -Fixed the issue of boot stretching to XXL size when Dante goes into DT

Swaps Balrog with bits and pieces of Odogaron and Nergigante from Monster Hunter World.

Details
Blow mode (AKA Fist mode) - some attacks will summon deadlier claws, and the claws on the boots will retract.
Kick mode - Boots gain heel talons, and the retracted claws expand in size to eviscerate your foes. Boots also gain additional glow patterns in ignition.

Includes 2 variations:

Garon's Gaze - Red colour scheme
Nether's Fury - Ebony colour scheme

I've also included Darkness' Blue Dante mod's flame effects in the optional files section, in case you wanted a blue flames to go with them (it's a standalone file, so it'll work on other Balrog mods or on vanilla Balrog too).

I have no plans on putting this on Beowulf, but if you're a modder, feel free to do so (just slap me in your credits). Beowulf will get a similar treatment, but it'll be done with a different monster.

If you want more Monster Hunter themed weapons, check these out:
Royal Thunder for Cerberus
Tamanowo - Yamato Replacer
Cera Cymmetry - Devil Sword Dante Replacement

Fluffy Manager
1. Download and install the most recent version of Fluffy's mod manager.
2. Drag and drop the mod rar to Fluffy Manager's mods folder ([mod manager folder]\Games\DMC5\Mods) then open the manager and install.

SSSiyan's Collaborative Cheat Trainer
Mods must be added in Fluffy Manager\Games\DMC5\Mods\(Collab Trainer Folder)\natives\x64\Mods\ before installing or
Devil May Cry 5\natives\x64\Mods\ after installing. From there, they will appear in the asset loader list & can be activated/deactivated.

  • Fingers will have some clipping, but it's expected considering that they're beefy and long (fun fact: vanilla Balrog has some clipping, too :D ).
  • Glow patterns will be visible as dark shades in some lighting. This is because Balrog's textures for the glow and occlusion are shared by the same channel (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, along with the solution if there is one).
