About this mod
A trainer for the original DX9 version of Devil May Cry 4 based on reframework, using minhook, glm and Dear ImGui.
This dll will give you access to training, gameplay, and quality of life options without ever needing to open anything alongside your exe.
- Permissions and credits
This trainer only works on the Vanilla DX9 Steam version of the game.
If you have a non steam version, swap your exe with the one found here
If you want a trainer for Special Edition, I recommend SuperTrainer V9 and DDMK.
dmc4_hook is not being ported to Special Edition.
Installation Instructions
- Download the latest dll here
- Copy dinput8.dll to the DMC4 root folder, next to your exe.
-- By default this is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Devil May Cry 4\Run the DX9 version of your game.
- Hit Delete on your keyboard to open the menu to change options.
- Press Save Config to save your current settings. Your config will be reapplied next time you open the game.
Twitch Setup
- Once you have saved twitch info DO NOT send your config to others as it saves your OAuth (something like a stream key) in plaintext.
- Download libircclient-1.10-win32-dll.zip from here
- Copy libircclient.dll from libircclient-1.10-win32-dll.zip/libircclient-1.10/bin to the DMC4 root folder, next to your exe.
- Open the game and click the System tab. Scroll down, click "Twitch Integration" and follow the instructions to log in.
