M O D___U P D A TE i have a "confession" to make, i use Cracks, NO not the drugs, the files ..to all my games that have no online function..i use mostly SKIDROW but RAZOR is good too ..which is the reason i could not know about the error codes unless you point it out to me...so yeah...deadpool below was spot on..the reason im saying it now and didnt from the start is to avoid bitching from people who actually believe that cracking a game = piracy.. no joke..there are people who actually DO believe that..and since this was becoming annoying (for you) i deleted a few files at my DXHRDC game folder and got back to the steam version where i encountered error code 8B1E9DF7 as i expected to..so i searched and searched for weeks (the guyz/girlz who pm'ed me already know about this) until i finally found the correct DLL mod hook for the latest steam version which i assume we ALL have...gibbed (mod author) tweeted a while back that he would replace it but never gave an ETA on it so the only thing one could do is to wait and keep searching...unfortunately for everyone at several forums the download links are soooo damn spammed and many links got expired + the official version of the game is still technically the same so you could download a few SAME burger menu mod zip folders and all of them being different dll versions ...
ANYWAY i found the correct one and used it and IT WORKS right now..so it hopefully WILL work for you too and im going back to my skidrow crack WITHOUT the new Replacer DLL...(IF you choose to do the same i recommend you as well not to use the updated dll because i dont know what will happen if you use it)..
SO DOWNLOAD THE MAIN MOD (if you dont already have it) and then the UPDATE with the replace the DLL..copy and replace..start the game...and above all..have fun (gopher reference)
EDIT 1 : BTW..if you install the mod and go to the main menu and see nothing (IF YOU HAVE DELETED THE MAP SELECTOR) dont come back here ready to complain for not working..it WILL be visible if you press ESC during playing the game...
EDIT 2: IF you have a problem with the mod and find somewhere else the solution or find other stackmods (since if you tell me i will search it elsewhere too) dont hesitate to post a link with the fix or the stackmods so i can update the page..besides i uploaded this mod in the nexus for convenience so a large and increasing amount of people can find it to a place its meant to have mods, so you wont have to search to a pile of forums.
well, I would like to play the burger menu mod on my new PC, but it's the director cuts version doesn't work for me on this page, I tried multiple times, and I even tried to replace the files manually. Do you have a link to any file storage site? (Note: If you do, please PM it to me, high traffic = broken links)
Oh, I see the problem. I just got this game this week and these folders aren't doing anything for me despite following the instructions to the letter and NOT deleting the map selector.
Right-o, have this on steam, version 2.0.0.0, and I get could not identify game version (43bc0cbc) This includes with the replacement 1.1.0.0 dll file available. Any solutions? EDIT: I'll leave this up in case anyone else ends up in the same place, but the issue is that I used the DXHR patcher on the exe, and it can be fixed by using it again, selecting your EXE and the appropriate game version, and applying the patcher with no options selected. I am unsure if any options can be used safely.
For anybody still looking at this, the DXHR patcher now includes a modified hook that can be used if you use the patcher. (Or if you manually made the hex edits, in which case you still need the modified hook)

What kind of fucking bullshit is this? Trying to run this game with mods is the equivalent of getting ass cancer--can't even get past the fucking logos without the game freezing up and stuttering. DO THE WORLD A FAVOR ALREADY: SIMPLIFY THE INSTALLATION PROCESS. This s#*! should not be hard to pull off, for fucks sake.
ok so not sure if I'll get a reply or answer but, there's a problem I've been having where the weapons I upgrade, some of their upgrades always seem to reset, which is damage upgrade most of the time, I dunno what's up with that does anyone know why that happens?
Question: Anyone have legacy version of the debug menu for the standard non director's cut of this game? I can't find it anywhere online, seems scrubbed of the net unfortunately. I will always prefer the original version of the game, and this mod was fun to play with always.

How did you get it to work? I am on the steam version of the game and just get 'could not identify game version. mods will not be installed' with both of the dfengine files :(
This will not work for me and I've tried every file.When I use the ones in the Files page I get error message "Could not identify game version(D5F7C383). Mods will not be enabled. sorry. :("If I use the one linked by shinjidf in the comments here I get the exact same error message except with (2A083C7C) for game version.

I'm using both the exe patcher and this, so it is not that at all, the only thing I can think off is that the DFengine.Dll has to be updated, so in other words, download the latest one and use that instead of the one provided with this mod
Still works great in 2022, all functions work and for some strange reason it stopped most of my stutters too (just make sure you use the latest DFengine.Dll and not the one within this mod) ENDORSED!
