ABOUT THE UPDATE
So, my mod did not use to work with the GOG version of the game because of the outdated DFEngine.dll file that used to come with my mod. But thanks to gibbed, who also made the original and uploaded the updated DFEngine.dll file to its GitHub page, my mod should now be compatible with the GOG version. Double-Barrel Shotgun accepting more upgrades than it should "bug" is also fixed. It turns out this "bug" was an oversight of mine, left from the days of mine when I was experimenting with weapon upgrades. So any changes made to weapon upgrades were unintentional and now they have been fixed. I remade the mod with a fresh pickup_database.drm file to ensure that any unwanted changes would not have been made to the game.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?
This mod will allow you to stack grenades and consumables while staying faithful to the game's original inventory system.

WHAT DETERMINES "FAITHFUL?"
Being able to stack cyber chocolates up to 5 but not cyber Nutellas (and no I did not get paid by them) have always bothered me. So I wanted to "fix" this but I also did not want to change the inventory system too much, and I thought if we can stack 5 painkillers; then why not stack 5 beers or grenades and what not.
Here is a list of all changes.
- All grenade types will now stack up to 5 instead of 1.
- All mine types will now stack up to 5 instead of 3.
- Mine templates will now stack up to 5 instead of 1.
- Cyberboost Proenergy Pack will now stack up to 5 instead of 3.
- Cyberboost Proenergy Jar will now stack up to 5 instead of 1.
- All alcoholic items (beers and stuff - I do not drink) will now stack up to 5 instead of 1.
- I almost forgot. Remote Explosive Device now stacks up to 5 too instead of 2.

HOW DO I INSTALL THIS NONSENSE?
Copy and paste the mods folder and DFEngine.dll file to your game's install location, which is probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's Cut
DO NOT forget to make a backup of your DFEngine.dll file before installing my mod for easier uninstalling.

HOW DO I UNINSTALL THIS NONSENSE?
Just delete the mods folder and DFEngine.dll file. After that copy your backed up DFEngine.dll file and paste it to your game's install location. If you did not back up your DFEngine.dll file, then you can get a new and unmodified one by verifying the integrity of your game files; which can be done by selecting Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut from the left side of your library, right-clicking and selecting properties, clicking to the local files tab and finally, clicking to the "Verify integrity of game files" option. After Steam verifies the game, it will download and place the necessary file to where it should be.

IMPORTANT!!!
In case your game does not start after installing this mod, cut and paste your save files to somewhere else other than the game's save location, which is probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\Your Steam ID\238010\remote
After starting the game with my mod once, you can paste your save files. But you might have to drop and pick back up your items for them to stack up correctly.
