These are two skins for the DE6 in the style of the Great Northern Railway (the US Class I railroad; sorry to any Aussies, Brits, Canadians, Irish, New Zealanders, Louisianians, Mississippians, Texans, or Wisconsinites who may be thinking of a different railroad called the Great Northern Railway).
Various versions of the Empire Builder livery were the default on Great Northern's diesel locomotives up until 1967, when they rebranded much of their equipment to the Big Sky Blue livery. However, this lasted just three years: in 1970 Great Northern merged with a few other US railroads to form Burlington Northern (which in 1996 merged with the Santa Fe to become BNSF). I've included both an Empire Builder livery and a Big Sky Blue livery.
There are two versions - one for those who use Number Manager, and one for those who don't. Both mods require the use of Skin Manager.
Special thanks to katycat6 for making the DE6 GIMP Texture Templates, and to Benn Coifman at www.RailFonts.com for making the "Empire Builder" font used for some of the lettering.
This mod is compatible with the Simulator update. First install Skin Manager, then install it like any other mod by dragging the downloaded zip file into Unity Mod Manager.
