In this mod, you'll play a more challenging career where the conditions have been redefined.
To fully enjoy this career without any issues, you must start a new save game and skip the tutorial!
Installing this mod into an existing save is NOT recommended!!!
What does this mod change?
In this mod, the player starts without any license but with enough starting capital to purchase the train driver’s and the shunting license and at least a shunting locomotive of their choice (e.g., the DE2, DM3 or S060).
Please remember! the starting location always offer two Locomotives, so please choose the optional starting loco in UMM-Settings (Ctrl+F10)
So you begin your career as a shunting engineer, working in the stations until you can afford additional licenses.
Many conditions have been changed, and the prices have been adjusted.
It is recommended to keep the payout for jobs at 100% in difficulty settings.
Why this mod?
I actually created this mod months ago.
First reason:
i didn’t like the original settings in the game — some prices and conditions didn’t make sense.
Second reason:
I play the game exclusively with the multiplayer mod and I’m hoping that one day there will be a "Company Mode," where every player must earn their own capital and acquire their own licenses.
