Initially, this mod will add dynamic shadows to all outside areas in Demon's Souls. Beyond that, I'd like to alter the lighting, the tonemapping, water reflections, and more. But shadows is a good starting point, I think.

Demon's Souls is a special game and I wanted to try and improve it however I can visually. I've tweaked the collision params, drawparams, map files, shadowbank, etc, to enable dynamic shadowing to everything outdoors in Demon's Souls.
The goal of this mod is to provide these benefits: Dynamic shadowing added to the game Baked lightmaps removed where needed (mostly outdoors) Depth of Field increased in usage Player Lantern reduced slightly indoors and outdoors on a case by case basis Tonemap/tonecorrect modifications for contrast and clarity Overall darker than unmodded game, and thus possibly more difficult Respects the OG vision but does make some creative alterations
Areas included right now: The Nexus Tutorial Boletaria first and second levels Shrine of Storms Level 1 Stonefang Tunnels Level 1 Latria Level 1
I wanted to release this early to get performance feedback from different PC configs.
