These save files allow you to start a fresh New Game Plus run with NOTHING, except for the 50k credits and 10 power nodes that you are automatically awarded by completing the game. Since I thought the default Hard difficulty was too easy I decided to up the challenge.
You need to find and pick up all the other weapons and upgrades, find all the schematics and buy the higher level suits.
You can also use the save where I have just started on Chapter 1 (I repaired the tram, still need to go to maintenance to get the card) and used Mod Engine to reset the nodes and credits to 0 - you only have the credits and the one node that I have picked up so far.
Watch out for Phantom necromorphs that appear on NG+, those things take a lot of ammo to bring down with the non-upgraded plasma cutter.
