I suppose it's because of that stupid "rule of 8" - only 8 survivors can appear and join Chuck in one and the same time. And here is a problem with mission "Short Signed" and 3 new survivors. When I reach Esther I have Chad, Doris and "Welcome to the family survivors". Then Esther joins me, Sarah joins as well... but not Marvin and Taylor. I suppose it's because there is another mission appears in the same time - Worker's Compensation. I re-tried several times with different actions but I never was able to save Marvin and Taylor. Too many survivors in such a short period of time. Could you do something? Like move them a bit farther, there is a lot of "empty" time spots in the game... Or is it some sort of bug with those 2 males since every time it was Sarah who joined me... But I'd say "rule of 8 is a problem".
Indeed, it looks like my mistake. I'm very sorry, I'll fix it in the update. Do the same operations as before with moving the "data" folder and replacing the files. You won't have to start a new game, just run your last save before this mission, Marvin and Taylor will join you, as they should. But still remember the "rule of 8 survivors" when going on a mission where they will spawn.
