This Mod Replaces the default Xbox One button prompts with the Dualshock 4 button prompts from the PS4 version of the game. It also removes the Chromatic Aberration from the game. Both Mods are available together or separate, I did this because they both use the "Data0.pak" file.

Dualshock Button Prompts for Dead Island Definitive Edition - 1.0
This Mod Replaces the default Xbox One button prompts with the Dualshock 4 button prompts from the PS4 version of the game. This was accomplished by renaming the Dualshock files in Data0.pak to icons_xbo.bin and icons_xbo.scr respectively and replacing the original files.
Chromatic Aberration Remover Mod for Dead Island Definitive Edition - 1.1
My first version of this Mod used the files listed below from BadassMouse's CA Remover Mod which are from hivKORN's Dying Light CA Remover Mod and ported the necessary changes to the more up to date version of those files found in Dead Island Definitive Edition.
The files:
data\postprocess\include\main.ppfx
data\postprocess\include\postprocess.ppfx
data\postprocess\include\render_loop.ppfx
data\scripts\varlist_hud.scr
I did this because the files found in DIDE include minor fixes compared to the DL files.
Since then I have found another method that uses the varlist_main.scr file which is much simpler and less hacky than the previous version and seems to have some improvements as well.
Known Fixes (1.0):
Screen turning black if Anti-Aliasing is turned off.
Known Fixes (1.1):
Lower or 0 chance of artefacts.
To install this mod:
1. Download the required files from this page.
2. Navigate to the game files where the Data.pak files are located (For Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DIDE\DI).
3. Replace the "Data0.pak" file with the file of the same name located in the "Modded" folder of the download.
4. (For DS4 Prompts) In the game options go to the "Controls" tab and under "Configuration" and make sure that "Xbox One Controller" is selected.
5. (For CA Remover) Turn Chromatic Aberration Off in the menu's as having it On can cause strange artefacts.
To uninstall this mod:
1. Navigate to the game files where the Data.pak files are located (For Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DIDE\DI).
2. Replace the "Data0.pak" file with the file of the same name located in the "Original" folder of the download.
This game is compatible with a DS4 controller input but if you are having problems then an application such as DS4Windows may be beneficial to you.
