Farewell is a decent hour drive from Chemult and 2 hours from Crater Lake on a good day. It's been a long time since there were any good days. Far from the area around Sisters and La Pine where the story starts out is not just a significant change in scenery, but legal jurisdiction. Crater Lake and Chemult are firmly situated in Klamath County, yet there are still Farewell emergency vehicles littering the area despite Farewell being 60 miles away in Deschutes county. This simply will not do.
Also Diamond Lake is just over the Douglas County line but we'll just ignore that for now.
Police SUVs and firetrucks are replaced with Klamath County Sheriff's Office and Klamath County Fire District #1 liveries, respectively. Based on the older sheriff livery from back when they were still black and white and, obviously, KCFD1 firetrucks. The firetrucks will likely get changed at some point, but for now I'm happy enough with it.
INSTALLATION: If you already have mods set up, simply drop the pak into your localappdata paks folder
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE MODS SET UP here is a simple tutorial: -Navigate to DaysGone\BendGame\Content -rename "startuppackages.pak" to literally anything else. The game looks for that exact file name, so changing a single character such as making it "startuppackages1.pak:" should work. -go to %localappdata%\Local\BendGame\Saved\Paks. If there is no Paks folder, simply make a new folder and title it Paks. -extract the contents of this file to the aforementioned Paks folder -launch game and test that the mod is working
